Totally agree I believe they only have 7 scholarship players right now for next year.

His dad is back on the sidelines with BNL this summer. Will be the varsity assistant there. -
All freshman will be on campus by June 13.

He is also already enrolled in summer school at OSU & also his dad played there.

Marni did not work for Crean or would she have worked for Archie. She was not a basketball employee, she was an athletic department employee. Archie might have some say on who the new person is but FG will have the final decision.

Heard today he is headed to Western Kentucky. I was told his dad is worse than Ball's dad without the talent of Ball

He reached out to Ball st, Valpo, IUPUI & IPFW so I've heard. Ball st said no thanks.

If we go after someone it will be him. All of this could have been setup just to get him too. Grant has options already. So hopefully it all works out.

Thank you. This players mind was made up but he could always change it. He does love IU and might continue his studies here. But until it's announced publicly I could always be wrong. But this is the same source I got all of my info about the assistants and Strength coach so have no reason not to believe it. If it's not announced by this time next week then I will say I'm wrong.

Mark Cuban says it's better to go undrafted then to get drafted in the 2nd round. Undrafted players can get guaranteed contracts, 2nd round draft picks I guess can't? But I thought Lance Stephenson got one from Larry Bird a few years ago. Maybe it's the choice of the owner-GM.

Yes you are correct. He just seems to fly under the radar all the time but I do know for sure there was talk towards the end of the season about Jones leaving & I noticed we are recruiting a lot of two guards.

I think JBJ really likes Archie & so does his family. There have been rumors of him staying & maybe his brother Veejay walking on. It's odd that Curtis Jones was not mentioned at all today.

So I'm guessing Phinisee is #1 point guard choice or maybe #2 behind Garland. Hunter would be 3rd? I guess whichever one we land we get a good one. -
Rojo would have to do a lot of work this summer to be a grad transfer. When I say a lot of work, it means more summer classes than anyone I've ever seen take in one summer.

Yes the longer James stays the more it hurts his professional career. TB is at that point also. If he stays and doesn't get better his stock will really fall. James was known as a great shooter who couldn't play defense or do much else after his freshman year. After his junior year he is known as a good shooter who can't do much else.

I do not believe James will be back. He knows he is not a first rounder but he is ready to start his professional career like Troy was.
