I can confirm that I just spoke to my wife and she has NOT slept with Romeo yet. She is waiting to see how much he gets on his first contract. The story is BS. It has not had legs since the first time someone posted it. Everyone is claiming that someone slept with someone's girlfriend or coaches wife. NONE of it happened.

If you're going to leave IU, you might as well party your a$$ off this weekend.

I know the answer to this. VO lived at Cook hall between his freshman and sophomore year. He got up at least 1000 shots a day, every day of the summer. Had nothing to do with Crean. I had VO talk to my son about getting shots up in the summer. Crean may have helped in other areas but not in shooting, that was all VO putting in work every day of the summer.

We agree on something Indiana doesn't need Dakich for anything. Poor guy can't do a 3-hour radio show without mentioning IU in the first 5 minutes. He needs us more than any recruit will ever need us.

I thought I read where he wanted to go out west to play closer to where his dad lives.

I would say yes but I guess you have to take LQ on his word and he says he will reschedule. I just don't see it. I would personally save a scholarship or two so we can get more 2020 guys.

Maybe I confused a visit with an offer then. I prefer Windham just because he has played with Franklin and TJD. Plus I don't think LQ is realistic for IU

Do you really think there are 15 minutes a game out there for someone not named Watford or Brunk? Also he has a major offer in Creighton I believe.

Not really took me half a practice to figure out who he was. Couldn't tell a huge difference since it was a basic scrimmage. Plus I don't attend football practice very often so didn't know what to look for really.

Agreed. He is OK but IMO he doesn't make the players around him better. He's not going to hurt you but we need Tuttle or Penix to be the guy.

I went to practice on Saturday. Tuttle was out with the flu, Ramsey looked like he did last year. OK, nothing great. Hale had some amazing catches, Ball dominated the D. Penix through it well during 7 on 7 but he's just off target sometimes on easy throws. Scott had one big run.

No offense here I was just stating why he is here. He is the only coach on the staff I don't have a relationship with. I'm not saying why or why not he should be here, instead just listing the reasons I believe he is here. Just trying to answer your question.

I will give a few reasons why Bruiser has a job. He is a former head coach for many years and you need someone who has experience. He helps Archie with in-game coaching situations. He has many east coasts ties and has been around big-time college basketball programs for many years. Plus he is the only coach of color on the staff which I think you need. With grown kids himself, he can be like a father figure for some of the players. If he leaves, I don't think it will be Lewis who takes his place. Maybe Guyton, but knowing Calbert I don't think he wants to put in the time and energy it takes to coach at a big-time program. He didn't like going to the AAU tourneys when he was St. Louis.

Remember I said I was told this was going to happen but not from anyone on staff, only from a former player. Not even a former player I talk to often so don't know if it's true or not, just sharing the info.

Archie can tell those players they are no longer on the basketball team and they will keep their scholarship but not count against the 13.

What if it's players and not player. I was told there will be two more and that the players have been told. I don't necessarily believe this but we'll see.

I have seen some links for it, but having trouble finding it right now but will keep looking.

Leaving IU

As I said in another thread today or this weekend, we might have some activity in the transfer portal. This is coming from a former player but not my normal contact so not sure how connected they are anymore.

I've heard that Fred Glass is entering the transfer portal today. I saw this and it made me laugh.
