Baumgart now saying heavy IU lean and expect an announcement after Friday. I wonder what a lot of this smoke is. -

Sorry for the dumb question but what does he mean by miles and miles apart? Is that meaning both sources are from difference circles? -

Let's hope that is true tomorrow! -
Yeah I expect it to look a lot different next time. I'm just glad we have a coach who knows he HAS to win next year. Unfortunately for Crean I don't think getting a grad transfer was as popular in 2009-2011. Max was the first and only one we got. I know a lot of people don't like the grad transfer rule but I do. Let Mid Major players go to a power 5 for one year.

Yeah I can't see him waiting until then. I'm pretty sure it's an award show too. -

Yeah his All-Star games will be done on the 13th. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but don't they announce the Mr. Basketball in late April now? That's another reason I don't think they wait until the 30th. I'll root for the guy wherever he goes. Really think he is better than his #5 ranking even though that is really good. One of the best players to come out of Indiana in a while. I also think he will be a stud in the NBA. He will be a perennial all-star. -
I hate recruiting rankings but if you look at the last few years the B1G has been ranked very low. The SEC is getting a lot of talent. If Indiana gets Romeo I think they will be the highest ranked B1G team as far as the 2018 class. Should be around #8-10. This reminds be of the 2003-2009 B1G. Michigan State, Ohio State, and Wisconsin dominated and nobody else really came close. I would love for Indiana to dominate the Big Ten but I would like some competition. The 2010-2014 Big Ten was very competitive.

That's why I'm surprised Juwan wouldn't try and get some free feedback. I really wish they let those who go undrafted come back to college. I know that's tricky with the draft in late June but it is only fair to the players.

If I had to bet I think it will be the week of 4/16-4/21. Not sure if they do a weekday or weekend announcement. I just can't see them waiting till the 30th to announce but that wouldn't surprise me. Not sure when he is going to visit IU but I would imagine it will be in the next week. -
Who's Declaring/Transferring Around NCAA 2018

Not that they matter but ESPN has them as the #10 team if they all come back. Loyola has 3 of their better players coming back so they could make some noise too. -
Definitely can't argue about his Big 12 titles. What is even more amazing is the majority of those titles aren't shared with another team. I just think he should have more than 1 title. Same with Tom Izzo.
-
Kills me to say this but I think the B1G will be "Down" again next year. All four tournament teams are losing key players (I think Mo leaves Michigan). Penn State and Nebraska could be in the same boat as well. Dienhart I think has Penn State , Nebraska, and Wisconsin way too high and Purdue, us, and Ohio State way too low.
-
Those are always fun to read. Only problem is they don't consider teams like IU or Maryland who had a bad season. IMO, I'll take both those teams over #24 Purdue. If we land Romeo I will put us above any team in the B1G. We will have a better idea here an a month. Other thoughts...Good lord Kansas is stacked. Self to me is worse than Calipari in terms of how much talent he has had and only 1 title to show for. To me they are the unanimous number one team. Nova, Duke, and pUKe are rightfully the top four as of now.

If I had a "guess" I think it will be the week of April 16. They said anytime after April 13 so I think that week makes the most sense. Should have an idea of who is staying and who is going by then too. -
I agree. They were looking like a top team in the B1G. Maryland and IU could be the wild card in the B1G next year.

I think Ethan Happ is testing the waters. Shamet and Robert Williams have signed with an agent.
