This is such a ridiculous statement. If Romeo was a done deal to Vandy why wouldn't he just commit right after Garland. Why wait till the Spring? People on this board get so negative when things don't go our way. Romeo is still very much in play for us.

It tells me that no one really knows. It's not like Jerry doesn't talk to these other guys making the picks. If he was given good information, he would flip. That hasn't been the case. Truly up in the air.

Rob Johnson and Newkirk should try out for the New York Giants. They would fit perfectly on that team.

I think he could be gone regardless. Not impressed and wouldn't be surprised if a guy like Anderson passes him next year too.

Newkirk played really well the last 10 games or so last year. What the heck happened...I'm starting to give up on him. A senior that looks lost. Johnson is right there too.

Crean didn't leave Archie much with this current roster...but he did recruit a great freshman class. Gonna be fun watching Durham, Smith and Moore this season!

Davis should have to shoot FT's all night long after the game. Pathetic.

Yeah but don't add in the fact we have a brand new coach who was coaching his first game with a bunch of guys he didn't recruit. Or the fact that this team lost its three best players and Crean's recruiting did not pull in any resemblence of a stud for these last few classes, which was absolutely needed.

Boy we REALLY need DG. After last night, I would want to start DG, RL, Davis, Morgan and either Hunter or one of the freshman this yr!!!

Rojo isn't supposed to be the guy. A few have said it earlier but many of our guys are good when they are the third or fourth option on a team. If Rojo, Newkirk, Morgan aren't able to elevate their games to make up for the loss of JBJ, OG, TB...It's gonna be tough. I really like the long term prospects on Devan Davis and am still excited about the freshman but the rest of the roster at this point is meh. DG will have his ups and downs.
