    He is going to be a great player for us but this is exactly why Archie cut his PT down.

    I just find it hard to believe he wouldn't have gotten some minutes the second half of the season. Newkirk is not going to magically improve.

    He's not a good shooter. If he doesn't get some easy drives for layups this is what you end up with more times than not.

    I agree with Newkirk but not Rojo. He plays really good defense. Is always guarding the best player on the other team.

    Love it. Not trying to be ignorant but never saw TC do anything close to that.

    McSwain is badd.....we have some great athletes on this team but not great bball players.

    Greene can be a microwave at times shooting the ball. If he could be a little more consistent and be more involved on both sides of the ball he could be really good.

    Newkirk is an athlete not a basketball player. Has no basketball sense or IQ.

    Bilas - "I don't think David Padgett moved his feet that well when he was playing" - as he paced the sideline to yell at the ref. that made me laugh.

    Okay I take back my last statement. Newkirk is having a pretty good game so far.

    He is weak. Will be the biggest thing for him to improve in offseason.

    He can't shoot. I'm sure he will go pro after this year but he needs at least another year. If not, he will be a dud at the next level.

    No doubt Duke is crazy talented but no one on that team is interested in playing any defense. I wouldn't pick them to win it all if they can't fix that. It's a product of having all of those 1 and done's.

    THey made an example out of Pitino and the assistants that got indicted and then packed up the bags. AZ, Miami, Bama, Auburn and probably many others likely walk even though there is evidence to the contrary. Also, don't get me started on UNC... I'm sure the cheating will pick back up in no time.

    Let's not forget Weber was at Illinois. It's not like KS took Gordon from Izzo or Coach K. Weber got canned and isn't far off from getting canned again at K-State.

    Yep and it's all fanbases. Nothing but great things to say about a recruit when they are being considered then the second they take an offer elsewhere it's he's overrated, he has a character flaw, we didn't need him anyways etc.

    Glass seems to like to go the coordinator/assistant route - Lemonis, Allen, Wilson all weren't current HC's when they were hired. I'm giving Lemonis one more year since this will be his first full recruiting cycle. Tracy Smith might be available after this year if not.
