  1. Seton Hall is a good team. They could be a tough out come March. Although not very discliplined at times.
  2. We are still only 3 games into the season. Still time to turn things around. However, I don't really see things changing a ton if we don't get more from Newkirk, Johnson and Davis. I had us as a potential bubble team too. Not ready to give up quite yet.
  3. If they don't let Davis bang a little he's gonna be fouling out of a lot of games.
  4. I think we all thought that was a question mark coming into the season. Surely you couldn't have thought this woul be a smooth ride with what we had coming back?
  5. Only down 12. I think Davis has trouble staying on the floor against pretty much any team with a decent big guy this yr.
  6. Please take Newkirk out too and don't replace RJ.
  7. Just when I wanted to think Newkirk may turn the corner. The seniors strike again!
  8. Smith and Morgan are so active on offensive glass. Love it.
  9. If only our upperclassmen would show up to a game
  10. Can anyone catch a ball and finish strong?
  11. This is easily two final four teams so it's okay to look bad compared to them. Actually think there could be three final four teams tonight. KU being the third.
  12. Jackson is going to have 20 and 15 against us and Bridges will feast.
  13. When you make some of the absurd statements that folks make on here, you get what's coming to you!
  14. I have already watched both KU and Kentucky and I feel very confident saying KU will win by double figures. Kentucky with this group of freshman will take time to develop. KU is running on all cylinders already with Graham, Vick, Azuikube and company. I'm more interested in Mich St/Duke. That should be a heavywight fight.
  15. I was in on the Ramsey fan club this year too. He showed guts and made some nice throws at times. I like that he is mobile especially with the defenses we have to face every year (Mich, OSU, Mich St, Penn State). We ran the designed QB option though too often imo and it usually didn't turn out well. I really like Ellison and i hope he can become the every down featured back and get 15-20 touches a game. I like your optimism on next season. I had the same optimism coming into this one as I know many on this board did as well. Therefore, trying to temper it a bit. There's no denying though that outside of losing Thomas and maybe Cobbs the entire offense will be back, which is huge.
  16. Apparently, he will participate in senior day. Doesn't for sure mean he goes but it is significant. I can't really blame him because do we know if his stock will go up next year with our QB situation? Definitely a solid group of WR's. I saw enough from Westbrook the year before to really like him. Hale was hurt most of the year but looked the part in the games he played. Timian back would be huge. The other guys showed glimpses so assuming one steps up we are fine. Our offense should improve but calling it stellar seems quite premature. The QB and OL positions both must take a big step foward. Can they? Absolutely and I hope they do. The defense on the other hand...that should be interesting.
  17. You do realize Simmie is probably going to the draft right?
  18. This battle back and forth between Ramsey and Lagow is a moot point b/c no matter who we started we would probably have the same exact record. All in all, it's a disappointment considering everything we had coming back to start the year. However, injuries really hurt us and the team has failed to really show hardly any improvement on either side of the ball. That is a disappointment in itself. Hopefully we can end on a good note and if Ramsey is still injured you have to go with Lagow as the QB.
  19. Wow I have seen too many people shoot from the hip on this DG recruitment but this one takes the cake. I don't even know how you derive everything that has happened and somehow arrive at an answer like this.
  20. Yeah not rooting for DG anymore. The fact he came out and said UCLA was second sounds like BS. Something had to go down over the last week or so.
  21. Not getting DG hurts, but not getting Romeo is going to be a real tough pill to swallow especially losing him to Vandy. Archie was playing from behind the whole time, which was a disadvantage. 2018 is a nice building class and hopefully 2019 is the homerun class that gets us back into the national spotlight.
  22. Well his dad just announced he was commiting in the spring so that's all we have to go off of. Nothing would surprise me though.
  23. I like optimism but hopefully we can stop with the statements like "we have this one in the bag" and "he's ours" until we actually secure a commitment from a recruit. Also, saying well this one poster thinks we are going to get him so we are definitely getting him. With that said, I really hope we get Romeo. This program needs a game changer bad not just for the roster but for public perception!
