Had Howard stopped when it was broken up with Gard no one would be calling for him to be fired. He didn't...so people are saying it's a pattern with him and he should be fired. This may very well end handshake lines in the Big Ten. Just like court storming has ended some rivalry games on campus. The narrative will be "we can't do that anymore because someone will get hurt" instead of saying "man, I wish adults wouldn't act like children." Maybe this was a strategy to get the entire team suspended so they wouldn't have to lose another game this season? Might have helped their tourney hopes like when they had to postpone games against the top of the conference because they didn't have 7 players available. I love this.....he gets it. He is showing the nation that he gets it. The transfer portal may be accessed early and often for us after this season. Every good leader sets expectations and responds accordingly to those that do not or will not reach them. He came from a time where people were proud of the product on and off the floor. Al suffered from the same thing as the current team members that were here last year....lack of development. He's being developed now and is playing better just like the guys on our current roster.
