I don't think he's blasting them with anything other than reality. Michigan looks every last bit a championship team so far with the coach we should have hired in just his second season. While there is consideration given to DDV in his first season having to start with a roster of odds n' ends, we don't have an immediate basketball future that's particularly bright. My 10 year old had ball practice today and I realized we need to change the name of one of our BLOB sets that uses screens away from the ball. We picked at random last year a name beginning with 'A' so they remember A = screen Away. Well, it's named Alabama. The obvious thing to do is change it to Indiana, but at 9 and 10 years old some of the kids' heads would start spinning and never stop if we change it now. I guess the next best thing to do is just retire the play because I can't in good consciousness be yelling that out across a gym floor this weekend.
