I saw Sooner fans commenting on an Oklahoma hype video calling for a Mateer legacy game. They weren't entirely wrong. It did do something for whatever legacy they were talking about, just not anything good. -
The village idiot reference speaks to my heart this morning as I'm currently having discussions with a Bama fan who thinks Indiana has had Alabama-esque football resources all along in an effort to cope with their upcoming embarrassment at the hands of Indiana and the Big Ten.

I'll play either team anywhere, but it's a bummer we don't get a home playoff game as the top seed. Indiana deserves a home game as #1.

Came here to post this. The comments roast him and I'm all for it. He's a dude asking to get his bell rung, both on and off the field. -
I'm just talking Devries. Not defending how he's managing the roster, but people act like he had the endless funds and influence of a powerhouse yet still chose this roster. No. He was left recruiting for transfers out of the bargain bin because of our current reputation and middle of the road funding from the department/collectives.

He can't MAKE them come. And look at us: who really wanted to come to this with all the other stable, successful options out there? That's where it starts. Not everyone can be bought. Not to mention, we are mid in what we're offering to pay.

I'm hoping someone just really ticks him off or makes his life hell while he's there. Not because I'm bitter. But because we need the right opportunity to absolutely gravel at his feet. I am not above begging.
