  1. Holy balls Creighton is shooting the ball.
  2. I've always enjoyed watching him play, probably because we never play against him haha. On another note I completely forgot Chucky Hepburn was at U6, in which case: Go Creighton.
  3. Agreed. While Purdue is a 4 seed...ok
  4. Yeah. And like one of my buddies, a Michigan die hard said, which Michigan team will show up?
  5. Seeing the UC San Diego/Michigan line at Michigan -2.5 makes me curious. I know UCSD was a 30-4 wagon in the Big West, but that's all I know. Never got to see them play.
  6. The second piece is the key and I think also the goal with him. Continuity of players in the incoming system is critical in a transition. And if he's Leal with a better shot then I'll take that as an added perk.
  7. Between Stevens and DeVries, we got the better option. It starts with really, truly wanting to be here.
  8. 3D. 3&D (sounds like we'll have more of that).
  9. We got Wayne back, fam. We need you on board! Would hate for you to miss the fun
  10. Not to mention the fact it was Dolson who blocked a 5th year for Woodson after the guy wanted "assurances" up front. And after this, I'm even more convinced he had his hands more or less tied when it came to hiring Woodson. This guy describing a systematic, well-researched hiring process focused on the collegiate basketball environment is not the same guy that 100% said, "1st option said no? Luckily we can get Mike Woodson as 1b!"
  11. And more so about finding themselves at poverty level in the NIL landscape.
  12. On to Miami University, where he doesn't realize he accidentally signed up for a Midwest MAC school until winter rolls around.
  13. Are you saying this was Stevens? If so, I have a hard time believing it. I know you were passing along what you were being told, which I and others appreciate, but this might signal an evaluation of your source or your source's source. No way he spurned us again at the 11th hour.
  14. I don't know the timing on when he made the comment but my guess is Colin and Doug are looking at it through fairly different lenses when it comes to experience. McDermott has been much further around the block now as a 10 year NBA vet, and he's also saying that after watching his former lead recruiter and assistant coach succeed consistently wherever he's been. Colin's support of Archie was probably more in the moment, relatively speaking. Who knows, I could just be an idiot. But I have a better feeling about DD than I did AM.
  15. Big win, Tyler, big win.... Still only considered a Quad 2 lol. I very much hope Carolina ends the year with a single quad 1 victory to their name while staring down the barrel of that Hubert Davis extension.
  16. The fact their governor reposted this is hilarious. I also wonder if he knows Cuban is an alum.
  17. https://x.com/D_Rock_IU/status/1902190060675481969 He's got a point. Lol.
  18. I thought I saw 11:30 today.
  19. He's just mad UNC is being questioned.
  20. Same. And if so, Scott was willing to play the game and that makes me feel even more confident in him going forward. Also, what guidelines or missteps actually constitute tampering? It's not like it was a secret Woodson was out of he continued to fail. DeVries can just say he'd been monitoring the situation on his own. Oh well, like you said: don't care. We have ourselves a ball coach.
  21. Same. And hey, like they teased, maybe McBuckets comes in as a shooting coach/consultant someday.
  22. I'll agree with the fact Mullins would be a difficult flip. I'll agree the 2-time champs label is a really good look and indicative of very good coaching. I'll agree that Hurley is the recent most successful coach. He's not the best coach in the country.
  23. Up until they run into a quad 1 opponent.
  24. Well good Lord I hope he has legs. Otherwise I don't think he'll be quite cut out for the B1G.
