I'm sure Fletcher was leading the goon parade. He was acting like they were winning a title when he would hit a three vs Evansville.
-
Number 1 apparently shining at home against... Oakland.
-
They finally woke up against Evansville but I remain unworried about Purdue.

Steichen abandoning the run game because we didn't immediately start running over the other guy. The olaying and coaching both regressed to the 2024 Colts.
-
Have to establish a run game this half.

You have to send the steal on the second pitch and take away the DP. There's a good chance Smith wouldn't even have tried to throw him out with Vlad, although not fast, leading off third.

I still yearn for a way for two teams to lose the same game, but at least I'll get to watch one of those fan bases start squirming before the season even starts. I didn't get to watch. How oaf-ish did *insert yearly Purdue giant's name* look today?

Is he back? Yes he is.

I'll accept the Bison being back. It could be really cool as long as we don't fully adopt a corny cartoon version of him. -

Just the preamble to the crashout, which still doesn't need to be happening 2 months into an overhaul. -
Look out, Doug. He's coming for your job, cigar in hand....

The biggest contribution Leal has to offer the team is his experience living life as an Indiana basketball player. We know that in and of itself is it's own unique challenge, and he could help navigate some of these guys coming from low/mid major environments on a completely overhauled roster. On court, what we've seen is what we'll get, but I wouln't think there's a plan for major minutes. -

I started to track this a couple days ago but got distracted, and today is Saturday so I'm just lazy, but how (and how seriously) are we on Leal watch???? -

I hope he never gets anything but low quality frozen yogurt for the rest of his life. -

Just refer them to Kevin Durant's social media presence and remind them that's what soft and distracted looks like off the court. -

Eh, bygones. That was a young man doubling down on his team at the time. Yes, he's an adult. But barely, and they're all fairly malleable at that age because they still don't know jack about people and the real world. He played his butt off down the stretch regardless. He may have said things people didn't like but he didn't stop competing. He won't continue the Woodson mentality, especially under DeVries. And if he were really the type, I'm confident coach would spot that from a mile away and would have already told him 'thanks but no thanks'. His value as a glue guy veteran for this pot luck roster far outweighs anything he partook in during Mike Woodson's Massacre. -

I agree, in a big picture lens. But realistically I don't think this team will start in the top 25 this season based on the unknown factor. None of these guys have played college ball together besides DeVries and Enright, and the majority of them yet to play Power 4 conference basketball. Coach has coached one season at that level. There may be a few brave ones out there, but most of the people contributing to the rank system aren't putting their name on an unknown product. Earn it, they will. That sounds like a negative take from me, but it's just facts and I believe the majority outside of Indiana will have a negative interpretation of that. I do not. I like and believe in what Coach is putting together because he knows how he's going to use it within the modern college game. I believe this can be a Top 25 team and it will be that much more rewarding when they make people take notice. -
Nick Dorn to Indiana from Elon

Every time Dorn gets fouled I'm gonna picture the "Oh God!" scene when he leans into the pitch. -
