Coach Cig basically just gave the middle finger to the SEC schedulflation and said we can do it too!!! LOL! He also spoke about play in games. This is kind of hard to hear but he's not wrong. And man, I'm so thankful he decided to come to Indiana University.

IUFB Hoosiers

I'm betting he'll be a lot more tame this year compared to last year's B1G Media Day.

247 Rivals On3 A big get for IUFB. Let's hope he signs. Also, this commitment indicates, or it appears at least, that Coach Cig is now on his recruiting schedule. If you recall, he and his staff have been playing catch up since he arrived in Bloomington in late November 2023.

Yeah, man, it's a bit comical for me. If this year goes like it should I don't think we'll see much of the media bashing anymore. On a different note, I think having 4 non-con games is the reason for 60% of the list being from one conference. Who knows.

6 of 10 on this list is an SEC school. You don't see IUFB on the list either. Bookmark this link and show it to any dumb@$$ that wants to talk about the how "easy" the Hoosiers' schedule is.

He'll take our non-con schedule every day of the week. And they'll end up doing it as well. ND will struggle to schedule games against any B1G and SEC school. Unless of course there are changes in the current system. Moneyball scheduling.

It's Moneyball smart. Every P4 will start doing this. Especially if we end up in the CFP this year.

When everyone catches on that 10 wins will exponentially increase your chances to play in a 16 team playoff system, this will be the trend for every P4 school. IUFB it just one of the first to do this. And it's some smart moneyball "get on base" type of poop. Schools like Notre Dame will suffer.

Coach Cig wasn't wrong. He did kick someone's @$$ that game, in that stadium. I was there. It was awesome. That game was when I knew we had something special brewing in Bloomington. I'm looking forward to this season. We're about to make a solid point to all the doubters. Hide and watch.

Stealing this from an x post. Who do you think is the biggest breakout candidate on the Hoosier defense this year? Ex: Rolijah Hardy last year. Stephen Daley will be in discussion for all conference and we won't stop talking about all the good things Louis Moore will do on the field by the end of the season.

This isn't mine. It belongs to Jamie Jordan. He does a fantastic job of all things IUFB. He just partnered with Hoosier Huddle. I highly recommend following him on X.

An absolute legitimate concern. Both Carpenter and West are hard to replace. I think the biggest difference this year compared to last year is our overall depth (8 total) in that position. Tucker, Wheeler, and Ratcliff look to be the main motors but Mario Landino should also be getting some reps. I'm big on Kyler Garcia but he's just a freshman so who knows. Not worried at all in all of those positions. Even if we get with the injury bug by our big three I'm still confident with the entire defense. I'd be worried if we didn't have experience (aka not a true freshman) at every position. DT/NT - 8 Total (3 Freshman) SDE/Stud - 8 Total (2 Freshman) CB - 7 Total (2 Freshman) S - 5 Total (2 Freshman) Rover - 3 Total (1 Freshman) OL - 13 Total (3 Freshman) WR - 10 Total (3 Freshman, 1 out due to injury) The only position that might be of concern is our Safeties but Byron Baldwin is one of the freshmen at that position.
