  1. Scheduled a second visit April 24. He visited the Wisconsin game last year. Va. Tech might be the school that lands him if I had to guess.
  2. Top 40 S out of Springfield, VA 247 On3 ESPN
  3. Top 20 Edge out of Ramsey, NJ 247 On3
  4. ND hired a new DB coach (Coach Aaron Henry) and it was Coach Henry that offered him. IUFB offered ND commit Ace Alston (Cincy area recruit as well) so I'm assuming both DB coaches (Coach Ojong and Coach Henry) look for similar traits in a recruit. Coach Henry was Illinois' DC last year. Makes me wonder if ND is looking to simulate some of the stuff IUFB is doing.
  5. Picked up an offer from ND. We need to get used to this. Hopefully he signs for IUFB.
  6. From what I understand the ACC tv deal is structured in such a way that there are winners and losers. Schools like Wake Forest and Boston College see less compared to Clemson and Miami. I think it's a new revenue-sharing model where incentive payouts happen based on tv ratings and performance. If I were pulling any strings I'd do what FSU did and threaten to leave the conference with the hopes of either the Big Ten or SEC welcoming the Cards. UofL would be a nice addition to either conference and the ACC would take a pretty big hit with them leaving.
  7. When the dust settles and the historians write about the football program at Indiana University they will all point to the day Pam Whitten was hired. She is the catalyst, the general that gave the marching orders to her athletic director, and the reason we still have Curt Cignetti and his staff still coaching in Bloomington, Indiana. For the first time in 57 years the program is going into a football season with a sold out Memorial Stadium. We continue to see 'first time' accomplishments and everything can be pointed back to Pam Whitten. As long as Indiana University continues to support and prioritize the football program it won't matter who's coaching when it's all said and done. Coaches will want to coach in 812 and I'm here for it.
  8. Here's a link for reference. Proposed Rule Changes The dress code rule is absurd. They must of been upset with Ponds' look. lol. I like the fair catch rule and wasn't aware that rule was not in college football. I just assumed it was. It's one of those bizarre rules that makes coaches look like geniuses when applied. Targeting. Man, it 100% needs tweaking. It's good they're trying to do just that.
  9. Top 50 Edge out of Cincinnati, OH 247 On3 He's the older brother of 2028 five star SG Kam Mercer. Jaylen has visited Btown a couple of times already. We were one of the first to offer.
  10. His brother Reece has not gotten an offer from IUFB but did receive one from Wisconsin last month. If I had to guess, they'll be Badgers when it's all said and done. Or perhaps another school where both of them have offers.
  11. Big dogs are now getting in the mix. He's picked up offers from O$U and Miami this month. Also, just a heads up, UNC is the school his current HC is from. I'm not sure that really matters to him but if he's got any interest in being coached by an eight (six as a HC) time super bowl champion he can just ask his current coach about the campus life and research triangle area.
  12. He also made a 2025 season visit to Btown for the Wisconsin game. He's interested but both the Vols and Vandy are in play. He's just outside the 4 hour radius so who knows if proximity to home matters for this young man.
  13. Top 20 ATH out of Brownsville, TN 247 On3 Looks like he's being recruited as a DB.
  14. Top 10 RB out of Duncan, SC 247 On3 OV scheduled May 15, 2026
  15. Top 50 OT out of Morton, IL 247 On3
  16. Top 50 DL out of Chicago, IL 247 On3 ESPN
  17. Top 25 CB out of East St. Louis, IL 247 On3 ESPN
  18. Teammate Caleb Johnson is also in the mix. Iowa looks to be our competitor for these two.
  19. Top 25 OT out of Noblesville, IN 247 On3 Teammates with Mason McDormott
  20. Personally, I'd go the route of designated areas that simply have the year. Something similar to what they do at the Shoe. An area for National Champions, a separate area for Big Ten Champions, an another area for retired numbers. I'm assuming we'll start to see more numbers retired now.
  21. We didn't have Beebe for the entire season. Prior to injury Beebe was our best RB statistically. He was averaging close to 8yds (7.7 to be exact) per carry. For comparison, Black was at 6.3yds per carry and Hemby was at 5.5 yds per carry in roughly the same amount of attempts during the same three games. Looks like the staff was trying to have the three average 10 rushing attempts per game? I know Hemby got the bulk of the load in the ODU game (might have been due to Beebe's fumble) and the attempts tapered off in the other two games when all three of them were on the field. He then picked up more attempts when Beebe got injured. Personally, I thought Beebe was the better RB of the three last year but that's just me. Richard looks like a hybrid of both Black and Hamby. Can run between the tackles with good vision, can get to the outside and can catch. Seems to always fall forward. He did have a few sub par games but that might have been due to other circumstances. I didn't watch any of his games. So if anyone knows more please share with all of us. We already know how Martin runs. I think he's gonna go off this season. Or at least I hope he does. We are in really good hands at the RB position with these three. The OL will be one of the best in the country if not the the best. Hoover will be just fine. He'll be better than he was last year and the offense will work in his favor. Just like every other QB prior to him in the Cignetti system, the QB will get the glory. Plus he's got all the things Coach Cig likes in a QB. I just hope he's able to drop his interception ratio. Again, assuming everyone stays healthy. That most likely doesn't occur.
