Could be plenty of reasons for for not getting off the bench besides his shooting. But as far as Kaufman I’ve heard he’s been playing more on the perimeter and obviously he’s shooting jumpers. If he can’t be a 3 or stretch 4 then I don’t want him. I don’t want undersized 5’s like Morgan at IU anymore. There’s to many big 5’s in the B1G for that to be consistently successful. I view 1 and 5 the biggest needs. Then. Shooter and a big wing. Kaufman is a big wing. As is Trey Patterson and I’d put Aminu Muhammad in that category with the way he plays even though he isn’t as tall. That said I want Kaufman but he isn’t the biggest need imo. As good of a player as Baldwin is for Butler any time it’s a close game he tries to be the hero for large stretches and kills Butlers offense.
