Unless we win out this season is a waste. Even if we make the tourney were a 6-11 seed having to play a title contender the second game. If we won out we would have a good chance at a top 3 seed. Losing 3 games in conference isnt ideal after 4 games for any team let alone one who had potential as a final four team. Crean has to go. I like the guy but it is obvious he needs a leader like Yogi or Cody and Vic...guys that are great leaders to be good if not his leadership is exposed and it shows. Maaaaan. I am sorry but this team isn't losing because of talent. The offense doesnt even suit this team. JBJ and RoJo are the only guys who can create 3s yet we set our offense towards that. We don't screen nearly enough because Crean wants to play 4 out 1 in. Designing plays on the baseline with no true pg is stupid. Talent is the only reason we have 11 wins this year. Simmie Cobbs is the biggest wildcard. I like him but without Paige which for some reason I thought he was a redshirt junior and would be back and Jones we lose a lot. Harris has potential as well, but our running game is gonna carry us on offense behind another great o line as usual even without Feeney. The defense should be just as good if not better. Scales & Fant possibly leaving is huge but Fant just got into a new program I saw on twitter. I can't remember exactly what but he should be back. Josh Dobbs seemed to never take the "next" step with him at the helm which worries me, but I do feel like that isn't all on him. I think King should be our guy next year with what I have heard. Ramsey wouldn't be a bad option either. Paige coming back gives us a big option, but we need a guy on the outside with Jones being gone that can help out whoever is our guy. Duke got smashed by VT and UNC lost to GT. Those losses happen in conference play, but not an excuse. Every team has turnovers but our team has game changing turnovers way to much. Down 6...with 2 turnovers that lead to buckets changed this game. A lot of season left, but without a true PG it is set to be an average year that looked like a final four year. Many of IU fans may just get their wish after this season. I don't think Crean sticks around if we don't finish top 2 in B1G and make a run and that doesn't look likely. We just don't have a true leader out there. This is not a Crean at fault game. I laugh at any of you that are that blind if you say it is. We have missed so many open shots and have over dribbled way too much. He has been yelling at guys, pulling guys and these kids just don't listen to him. That is the only knock on him today. Other than that we have just sucked. JBJ stopped two layups by Adel at the beginning that prevented this game from getting blown open even earlier. RoJo was set for a game like this with how hot he has been lately but 0-6!!?? What I meant by saying Ainge would go into panic mode isn't firing him it is making roster changes that Stevens doesn't agree with, making his job hard to do and so forth which would make him think about leaving for another job. I think Stevens personality is more suited for college as well. He could coach any sport and he would be at the top, but I think he will be tired of being second in charge and most NBA teams he would be that. If he finds a team offering a Doc or Pop role he could take that but I truly think he thrives on the pressure of being the Celtics coach. That's why it is the Celtics, IU, UNC, UK, KU or Duke for him IMO. Were just lucky he loves the state of Indiana or we probably wouldn't have a shot. I guess UCLA or Zona could be added. If you truly thank the Celtics wanted Rivers to stay your crazy. It wasn't just rebuilding heck Rivers has said as of a few weeks ago if they lost CP3 that they would be smart to build back from the ground up. The Celtics wanted change and so did Doc. So they both got their wish. I never said Stevens would get fired. I said if he doesn't get close to a title the pressure will be on and knowing he has a huge deal with IU in his back pocket he may see it better than any other time. I also said it isn't even likely he comes for those reasons. Ainge may love Stevens but he loves winning more. He is obsessed with getting a 3rd star and if that doesn't happen their always gonna be top 3-7 in the east. Injuries have been bad for everyone in the NBA this year. I could name at least 20 teams with injury problems. If you follow the NBA my main point was when Doc was traded, Ainge said he "hated" to see him go, but the team was stuck in neutral and it was probably better for both sides. Ainge would rather suck and get high draft picks than be average I promise you that. He wants titles. If he is patient and they get Hayward like I said before IU has no chance at ever getting Stevens again. The Celtics would be a LeBron regression away from taking their spot in the Finals every year, but if they don't and they lose in the first round or maybe even second this year a lot can change. Someone in the media as much as Ainge is isn't Stevens dream scenario either considering everyone leaguewide knows he wants more control of the team. Like I said Stevens isnt getting fired...even said it isnt even likely we have a shot, but if we do it's not even after this year it is next year. It would take the Celtics to continue being a playoff team nothing more or Hayward or that 3rd star that want not coming this offseason to even question a move on either side. Stevens wont EVER get fired from any job he ever holds. Even his rookie year in the NBA guys said he was probably the best coach not named Popovich in the league.
