Main point is the sense that Garland gets from him after this weekend. Even if he waits till Spring which probably happens. Vandy will at worst be in his top 5 so it could make things difficult. There is a slim chance Shittu is sold on UNC or Vandy and does decide in the early period. Still a lot of factors in play.

Shittu still has 3 OVs left too so other schools could beome factors.

Correct. Shittu is a major part of this. If you want Garland I would become a UNC fan for the weekend.

Also worth noting, I see lots of Archie praise and it is well deserved but this one has a lot to do with the whole staff in general not just Archie. The whole staff is the reasonl we're in this. Archie deserves a ton of credit for bringing in the staff that he has.

He will either be announcing that day or the following so there should be traffic depending on what the national guys are thinking. I guess Sunday could be seen as a day for some cb picks but I don't think Archie gets there until monday. Could make it to his game saturday too I suppose.

I figured lol. Nothing wrong with Hoosier Guy's ambition. Not ready for pitch forks and calling me every name in the book quite yet if he finds his way to Vandy. I hesitate sharing too much for that reason alone most of the time. I do expect Archie to visit from everything I have heard tho. It will be a busy weekend/beginning of the week for both but they will figure it out. This has been planned since HH that Archie gets the last visit so.

Hoosier Guy may have took my info too far though with the whole telling him in person he is coming to IU if thats what your refferring too lol. But from what I have heard(been mostly silent sides today and last night) I would bet money on us over Vandy if I had to pick. Less worried about it than I was last week. Don't pay attention to the CB this week. If there is any action Monday that would be the only day I would even pay attention to if at all.

FWIW, UNC had a lot of picks for him just by ramping up their interest in him, so his visit should have the same effect. As USPS posted I believe, I wouldn't be surprised to see Shittu take up a few more schools on a visit and wait till Spring either which hurts Vandy. Who knows maybe even IU gets in the mix lol.

This is gold!! The sense is Garland and his family really wanna see Archie one more time. That's probably what he is going off. If I kid is waiting to make a decision just to talk to a coach that is usually a good thing. I feel like he is wanting Archie to talk him out of Vandy. Of course that is just pure speculation.

The announcement is likely to be held during school hours. Game won't be involved from what I have heard. Couple notes of why he wants to wait. One being to talk to Archie beforehand. Two being to see where Shittu stands after his UNC visit. I'm gonna guess a few more, but that is mainly all I have heard.

Anything is possible, but honestly that isn't likely. He is a likely top 10 pick, but so was Bridges. I wouldn't get to excited about that possibility tho.
