I was gonna say the same thing. Couple kids are still open out there. Ramey, maybe Tyger Campbell, Simons, maybe Shittu, grad guys, first semester transfers we will have more guys than 4 even if we dont get Romeo. These first 2 games have only solidified my opinions of that. We could see a few transfers not just one or 2 after this year.

I do agree with that last part about the Garlands ruining it today. It only made matters worse. And if ANY media member since ESPN hardly made any reports until today were the ones leading to spinning it for excitement they are probably pissed they didnt get the commit story. That is one thing that makes me smile right now. We are in for a battle with Romeo but lets not all assume he is not coming here just from this. I will be interested to see if Shittu commits in the next few days now. Could end up being Garland alone or with both of them. Time will tell.

The Garlands didnt tell anyone to make it sound close. If anything the opposite. They said they had one school in mind for weeks. Most just assumed it was us on here. The national guys tried warning us too. I was wrong and it happens, but the Garlands didnt do a thing wrong. I take it as too much optimism as IU fans/writers and am hoping that is what happened not that Rabs or anyone for that matter tried to spin the recruitment. Archie has gave a lot of us faith we havent had in awhile in these kind of recruitments. Time to move on now though.

It's not like that. I'm pissed, but right now Rabs is just the easy target for anyone. I respect his work still I just won't listen to anything he shares much anymore because he was closer than most to the situation and made it feel closer than it was. That's all. The rumblings of people trying to make it entertaining could be anyone I guess. I dont have evidence to slander anyones name/s. We lost out on the kid and I for one enjoyed the recruitment until now and wish him the best. I hope Rabs didnt derail things and he never said IU had him so that does mean he shouldnt take too much heat. Vandy really did get a great kid.

Kinda sounds that way but personally dont know the WHOLE story. He has done multiple interviews and visits so him doing it the way he did makes me believe that he knew but I guess we will never know. I cancelled my subscription to Peegs though.

I will calm down eventually and understand that "done deal" was NEVER said let me say that. Besides that I have learned on the people to listen too and who not to listen too from this. I have shared info to plenty of IU guys for football and expect the same when it comes to them telling me. All in all though, this was a wild recruitment and I just hope this doesn't impact Romeo too much.

Sorry guys, does seem Vandy is for real. Actually heard the IU talk was just floated to keep the announcement entertaining just now. So anyone that heard things, did hear things but it sounds like it was the plan all along to make this one interesting. Still have a bit of hope but I have heard enough and seen enough to make it very likely IU misses on him. No one take this as Garland family used IU. Wasn't the case at all. Hearing Rabjohns was reason for most of it.

Only made 4 or 5 picks in 2016. I believe 3 were Vandy picks and 2 random guys but he got 2 right. When he picks it's usually the opposing school that wins. I could care less for the guy and when he took a shot at our guys that instantly made me dislike him. Got into it with him on twitter the other day too. Guy is hard to like. One of their guys posted a pic of Darius laughing and said Darius looking at the IU score. I can't respect those kinda guys.

So are we saying it's 1:45 or 3:45? Confused.

Great point. Glad someone understands this because there is a chance Garland picks Vandy. I have gave my personal opinion sides a few pms and random post. I stick by that though and think we get him. I have been closer to Romeo's recruitment than Darius's, but the Vandy smoke is mostly guesses. Are some educated guesses no doubt, but I believe only a handful of people truly know what he will do today. From what I've heard though from good sources is that IU may have pulled ahead due to HH. Like I have said over and over, Vandy not having true insiders has hurt us on this recruitment. Usually with 5 stars you have bigger schools with guys with more connections that can give more than what seems like guesses. If he does choose Vandy I wish the kid nothing but the best. IU will be my pick until he says otherwise though.

Appreciate it, I try to do what I can but with football season coming to a close and the signing period for December now I don't get as much time to focus on b ball recruiting as I would like.

Family member just relayed some info on Romeo. Darius's decision will have an impact on Romeo that will only help whichever school he chooses being the are both in his top 3, but in no way is Romeo solely basing his decision off his. Said the family respects the crap out of the Garland family and have enjoyed talking with them on the visits, but Romeo knows he will only be somewhere for a short period of time. Winning is what matters almost as much as anything and this year records won't hold too much weight either. Instead they are focusing on what sets work in favor of Romeo's game and who will be coming and going for each school. Romeo would love to stay in state but that doesn't mean he will. Also said the signing in spring thing doesn't mean he won't announce before then.

Dalton 26 also said Archie as a gut feeling while everyone was on Billy D.

I said Archie, Alford, Billy D(who didn't) and hyped Mike White though no one really mentioned him as far as sources go. Just thought he was a great fit if the 3 named weren't hired. Alford I included based off everyone else.
