Jonah Jordan made a Vandy pick for Garland this morning. He is 18 of 20 with average of 30 days correct. Sorry if posted haven't been following much this morning.

Love the he just knows everything about basketball comment. Archie along with these 4 will build the foundation for IU to get back to the top.

For those who have been wrapped up in Garland and Romeo, '19 class has potential to be great. CB picks for both Keion and TJD the last week or so and Meyer picked Watford to Bama the other day. Hurt to Minny the other day as well.

And that should be applauded wherever he goes. I have learned to respect and like this kid. I plan on rooting him on regardless of where he goes.

I was one that shared the almost committed after HH and I stick by that and know that to be true. Also said that his family wanted to back up and talk about things as a family to make sure he was making the right decision. Happens quite a bit with lots of recruits though. Fell in love on a visit and then calm down after a few days.

Ben Simmons was also as close to a lock as there is to being a top 3 pick. He could have went ANYWHERE.

The family is only gonna tell those they trust if he has decided to go to such and such depending on whether they think word will leak. Which is another reason I believe Vandy guys know close to nothing. They have had a few come out and say it so I dont think the family would trust them w that info.

It's all good man and sometimes it is that. There are days myself and others get really good info and days where you take what everyone is saying and make a valid assumption. It's more aboit trust than anything. I have heard from people in the "know" that really do have connections that have said both. It is a very tricky game and even with Rabs down there with Darius, could be a case of hey he is an IU guy we don't wanna say the wrong things or make him mad or just give out an answer flat out. Even those guys are "guessing" to an extent. Each recruit is gonna tell different guys different things depending on their relationship as well.

Honestly at this point, I just want the kid to announce lol. If he knows, no Archie visit is changing that for us or against us. Only thing I'm sure of is it will be Vandy or IU. Not gonna read too much into anything and enjoy the next few days welcoming whichever kids decide to let IU prepare them for the future. Friday kicks off the season too. I'm more than ready to see this team play.

Picked Shittu to Vandy yesterday or today. No Garland pick tho regarding Daniels.

Okay we gotta stop assuming every detail has meaning. Archie would want to visit regardless. He wanted to before his UCLA visit but timing played a factor. He still wants to and would no matter where he goes. I heard this over a week ago and haven't heard anything besides both having games after the dead period may not give them a chance.

Kinda why I didn't respond lol. We are like .2 points away from being 10th lol. Top 5 classes are the only big difference from the top 15. 6-15 could be more recruits than other schools so that is why they're higher and vise versa. I love the quality of our 4 man class and think that w the potential of Romeo or Darius we have what we need to compete next year.

Archie has talked to him, still would like to visit but both schedules make it complicated. If no visit happens it will not be cause neither wants it too regardless of who he is picking.

From everything I am told, no way Romeo signs in he early period. Regardless if we got Barrett, Garland, Shittu and whoever else. A December commitment could still happen though.

My thoughts exactly, but at this point things are getting crazy lol. Nothing would surprise me. These Vandy guys are ruining this recruitment someone needs to just tell them to shut up and act like they deserve a 5 star.

The Shittu news is still news. Everyone saying he is waiting till Spring to sign means nothing. If Shittu is telling Garland he is likely to go there it doesn't matter when he signs. A lot can change in that timeframe but still. Like I said it is still big news and I haven't believed the Vandy insiders. They are horrible and is probably making the family angry with all these he is ours statements in the last week. It is still up in the air and anything can happen but we have a great class regardless. Let's not act like If Darius doesnt come we're screwed. If he does come it is awesome and the Shittu news does have an affect on how confident I was, but I still like our chances. Until Darius himself says otherwise let's let things play out. The freak outs dont bother me it is a natural reaction and even though these insiders are not right most the time I do like seeing what they say so keep it coming. If for anything, entertainment.

We still have a very strong shot at Romeo. So whether we get good or bad news try to remember that we have a top 10 class NOW before either comes or goes.

This changes everything. Garland was affraid of getting to Vandy and not getting the notice as other 5 stars. Simmons and Fultz were top recruits and Garland tho a 5 star would get enough, but was a concern. At work so I will hear more throughout the day as you guys will I am sure.

The Garland family has to be starting to dislike any Vandy insider and probably why none have gotten constant updates. They are now saying Garland has committed to Vandy and it is done. This is the 3rd time a Vandy insider hasn't even beat around the bush with Garland. It's sad honestly and even if I was told by Garland himself I'm going to Vandy or IU I would make it sound like it was my opinion and I still probably wouldn't unless he told me too. It takes away the whole purpose of this kids moment.

Also says he wants to announce asap but will wait till the end of the week, beggining of next week. Read into it what you want, but the "known for weeks" makes it sound like IU, since Drew just made his run last week. We shall know soon enough.
