Okay nothing we dont know but Drew Davis posted an article saying Garland was down to IU and Vandy and that he will announce before his HS season starts. Just confirming what we know but wanted to share anyways.

So according to Drew Davis UNC has taken over 2nd place for KU. KU visit wasn't that great and actually hurt them more than helped. I sensed UNC making a run but I don't think it really matters. Other than that his article was pretty much what we already know. Davis was the guy who was literally right there for much of the visit when they were in B Town and got in trouble for posting pics he shouldn't of lol. Now here I go over to Darius thread for the update on him.

Yes exactly. Romeo and other in state kids have exceptions because the relationships the families have usually give the home state more news. I know Garland is basically an Indiana kid but not that simple. Everyone has heard or seen how much DG likes Bryce Drew and for awhile on twitter he was applauding kids in the state for going to Vandy. His OV to us changed things, but until he announces I am not sure anyone will really know. Maybe a day or the day of a few hours before the announcement word will leak. I feel like it's us because it is close so I will give Archie the advantage and the fact that Romeo is probably a Hoosier and they do wanna play together. Until both announce lots can change we have all seen it in the past. Hopefully Archie makes a open gym visit to both this week just to be safe.

I had a feeling that may have been taken the wrong way. If we visit him it doesn't mean things are bad for us. I think Romeo is ready to end this after this week and start deciding next week. Archie may decide he wants to visit regardless and it wouldn't hurt a thing. I expect Archie too honestly just cause it feels like that is just how he is and he has shown Romeo his is priority number 1.

Idk IMO U of L fans are the absolute worse.

Idk, the quietness surrounding him and vandy has been weird specially after they visited late last week. I wouldn't be shocked if it was them. I do think we are the leaders though. I truly believe it will be us. As I stated in the past it was never made official but I really think Romeo and Darius are a package deal in a sense. Obvioisly they could both go to seperate schools, but I have had the feeling for awhile. Kinda sounds like Romeo has had a huge voice in schools Darius has been talking to/visiting. Like I said no real info is being spread and probably won't be until close to him announcing since he is so far in the process.

I wouldn't go that far yet. This is nothing new about his family sitting down, I shared that last week before his visit, but a decision could end up being next week, but I heard no surprise would be later in the week. Nothing definite. I believe we are in great shape. News doesn't come around at each hour of the day lol. It is usually just different "insiders" sharing their opinion. I would definitely keep an eye on things the next day or so for either or commitment or a date for an announcement.

To add to Choppy, last week when I said it would be Tuesday or Wednesday that as we have all seen is when he plans on sittinf down with the family. It isn't something they will rush right after discussing. Wednesday could be the day, but I wouldn't place any bets on it. It will be verrrrry soon though and I may actually switch my tomrrow or wednesday to this weekend. If he really is that torn, his family wont talk and immediately decide after. The sooner the better tho.

Before I say anything else, I will say this, everyone be thankful for this board. I went to other boards today thinking of joining another one and it was horrible. Seriously. This board has the same insiders, knowledgeable posters, great mix of guys and is free. Best board period.

Okay some news come out today that Romeo was only seeing KU and UCLA and he was DONE with visits. Not true. Romeo has told IU that unless he feels iffy about his decision there is no need to visit. They still may but I saw that on twitter and didnt want anyone thinking that meant IU wasn't a leader or whatever. It has been a long day without this board btw. Everything is A okay though so sorry for the disappearance. Pap is pretty spot on as well though and I am the same way so don't worry. I always feel like it gets taken as an out for me if I say this or that on top of something. Romeo feels like he is the missing piece that could take IU to the next level.

I think there will be too much talent not to succeed. Obviously it will be Final Four expectations so I get what you're saying. Side note I agree about the threads being merged unless one commits very soon.

Seriously!! Specially since it will likely be the early signing period which will give Archie the top recruiting class before his 1st or 2nd game at IU depending on when they announce. Just flat out crazy. Schools nation wide will take notice and give IU a lot of momentum to build the 19 class with. It is actually unbelivable. Dayton is a great school but c'mon. If he came from a power 5 then it'd still be amazing but man.

Wow!! I guess it's just an exhibition but still. If Hand and Wilkes don't live up to the hype they could have a down year. Pac 12 has some talent this year. Welsh and Holiday are good role players but not go to guys. Of course I'm sure Liangelo is gonna be the best college player around when Lavar gets interviewed a thousand times this year.

Dont follow them as close as you do most likely but that sounds about right. Sabonis has had some good games and Victor has looked good so far. Really happy for him.

BTW when I said that his visit was still ongoing or maybe not even started can't remember, but what I do remember is saying hours ago that his visit was good nothing crazy and IU should feel even better. Now we see the KU insider change his pick and the quotes from papa langford don't sound great. Hmmmm. Lol never knew 99.9% of IU the favorite but hey since 247 cbers always change their pick after a visit with a team that has a shot I expect that to happen here would result in my words not meaning the same.

Yeah because it seems after any visit that always happens with any kid lol. Never once have I said KU is actually a favorite or would be after the visit. That would be actually worth mentioning.

See!! Told ya'll not to worry!! All that stress for nothing. I know it's hard because until it's official we're gonna second guess it, but KU was more of a factor before he stepped on campus. Good thing is he went there right after IU. KU won't be too upset tho. It feels good to know we probably win the battle of them, but they will have a great class. Dotson & Grimes alone would be amazing throw in their bigs and the potential of Shittu, Zion or Herro.

Hopefully it just happens soon. I'm killing my phone battery and my thumbs are starting to get sore at this point lol. I feel like I'm facebooking creeping an ex all over again but 2 exs not just one haha.

You're 100% right lol. If Grimes wasn't a 5 star I would say he could commit tonight but idk it's weird word got out today he was dedinitely signing early and then KU visits. Could go both ways though I guess. Whether confirming a commit or trying to stop one from UK. It is very odd with the whole UK thing. He was a sure thing for KU forever and then a home visit changes things that quick but not even an official$$$$$???? Just doesn't make sense. Maybe I am just praying UK or KU finally get caught haha. If Grimes goes, Romeo doesn't even think about KU. He wants to play on a good team but not one that has so much talent he is hardly talked about. That is what made Duke and UK fall out. Romeo definitely has an ego. Not a bad thing tho. Hopefully KU gets their guy and we get ours very soon. I wouldn't be mad if Romeo decided to just do it tonight :)

Meant it as no Romeo and now Grimes and UK has picked up some steam. KU ppl were saying he had actually committed to UK on Friday but obviously it didnt happen. Herro is a pretty good 3rd option lol so they will be fine but after thinking Grimes was KU's to UK's in a day it definitely threw them off.
