Shittu and Garland I agree with but not Romeo and I still don't. Vandy guys even had an inside joke of Romeo being Darius's bodyguard on the visit lol. I really think Darius is torn and he knows they have gained some traction in the Shittu recruitment along w others being mentioned w him and Darius, so if Vandy makes the cut for Romeo it makes them get even more attention. It does worry me that I have believed they were a package deal unofficially for awhile so of Garland did choose Vandy, Romeo would seriously consider them. I will say if we only get one it will be Romeo. Just don't see Garland coming here but not Romeo. I think were in great shape. Just took the Vandy news by surprise honestly.

Lol idk who told you that all 3 were going to Vandy a month ago but they lied to you. Being in the top 5 for a kid is so much different than being able to actually get the kid. You know how many top 5's Crean made that we had no shot with. IU fans should get that more than anyone.

This is very true. It was almsot as hard to get a top 5 kid for Crean anywhere compared to being able to get unlimited access to kids in state and some out of state. Personally I didn't mind his creaning but I get why others do but coaches really didn't like it. Crean a year or two ago was fine but this last year or so he really gained a lot of "haters" lol.

Nooooooooo, the tone is Vandy if what Snow said is true and is actually a player in this, is very surprising. They do have a shot at both, but not saying IU is done for. I STILL believe we get them both. W days ago I felt very confident and almost positive we got them both. Now I' m just pretty confident as I think everyone else is. I think we all just didn't see Vandy as a threat for Romeo.

How much crap I took for saying they would end up being a package deal and now it looks like it is really the case but not 100% IU has backfired on me. I said that with the intention of IU being the only school seriously considered by both.

If we do lose out on both I will give Archie credit just for making it this far with them and being seen as a favorite at one time. It will hurt because we have been the favorites but Archie has done a A+ plus job with maybe even a little extra credit/gold star on his report card.

I will admit that NONE of my "sources" had Vandy in the mix to actually get Romeo so this is news to me. I will say when he announces his top 3 we coukd see how close Snow is to the situation. Most of my guys are IU guys and my NA connection has been MIA but regardless, this could mean Snow is closer than anyone or not at all and I believe it is closer. Snow doesn't post stuff he don't trust. I had IU and UNC with KU and Vandy just fighting to be the 3rd team. I know people are gonna freak out with this but I KNOW though not official, Darius and Romeo would very much like to play together. I have said that all along and my stance has only strengthened. If Garland does go to Vandy, key word does and Snow is right I wouldn't rule out Romeo and Vandy completely. I would actually be worried if that happened. We are still the favorites but things can change quick and I believe Vandy has picked up steam w Romeo as a result of Darius seriously being torn. If he is really considering them, Romeo likely doesn't have Vandy in his top 2 or 3 whatever it is.

Archie being 39 and playing pg for a power 5 really helps him relate to these kids. I have heaed glowing reviews on workouts he has helped kids with. Jalen Carey mentioned that he loved the ideas he gave to him even after we kinda lost interest. Also his big bro and Cal endorsing him has helped out a lot too. As much as I hate Cal he has helped Archie gain grounding. Some actually said he told Romeo if he don't go to UK he should let Archie coach him. Still hate the guy though. We got a good one and he will only make more of a name for himself when he wins and wins often and starts getting these 5 star kids. We made the right choice.

Dang it I wanted the cool Halloween post!! Lol jkjk everyone enjoy their nights!! Just imagine how awesome it's gonna feel when they do both become Hoosiers. The longer the wait the better.

As Halloween is tonight and taking my 4 yr old tricking treating is top priority(means I will have unlimited supply of candy for weeks) I won't be on here much tonight just a heads up. There really isn't anything definite out there. Snow is very much tied into the Langford clan as USPS has said. That being said the longer this drags out means nothing bad for any of the schools specially IU. Gotta remember Romeo will only be here for a year. If he waits it is likely to see what our team looks like. He knows what UNC and KU's will look like for the most part. Vandy could be interesting if Garland goes there, but you guys gotta remember as much as Archie has done he hasn't coached at this level yet. They're doing their due dilligence. All thay said just as my backup plan lol I don't think he waits till past November from what I have heard, but if he gets cold feet I get it.

Darius will not be announcing today or probably tomorrow according to sources. Zags posted his brothers quote. The huddle is still ongoing and may take a few days. I still expect it to be this week. Sunday included in that week ;)
