I think Green definitely heard about the 13 NBA scouts in attendance. Awesome showing so far. Win or lose if we play the same the whole game, I will be happy and will start to think by conference play and with Hartman we may be able to sneak into the tourney. It's just one half though, but at least we know we're capable of being decent at worst.

(2018) PG Darius Garland to Vandy

That sequence at 3:14 was just filthy. Not sure I would put any other pgs ahead of him in this years class. -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Forgot about Oregon. They are always a threat with Canadian kids. Hadn't heard about the Barrett conflict though so that's good to know. I didn't know if UK's pursuit of Hayes was legit, sounds like it was though. Think he makes a nove up the rankings by the end of the year. Competition is gonna grow for Shittu though and as you said those 2 along w others will likely join the mix. A lot of kids seem to be trying to stay close to home more this year though so my confidence for Romeo hasn't went anywhere. Gonna be fun to follow as well as Shittu and Simons. Really curious where he goes. -

Ever since he cancelled/never scheduled a visit to UNC everyone has said he could pop anyday. I was under the impression he would definitely take more than ONE visit but Vandy has been it so far which is another reason why Vandy goes were confident and rightfully so. Archie isn't against recruiting more kids this year, but he focused on the 4 commits, Romeo and Garland mainly as well as a few others for a bit. Archie could call every kid in America, the question is which ones will listen. IU had some interest in Shittu at some point so it wouldn't be crazy if it happened but I haven't seen anything that would suggest we will. UK will definitely get involved IMO. -

Some good news, per Adam Finkelstein Simsolu Shittu will not be making a announcement today. Will be a Spring guy. Expect him to take more visits. -

Romeo has been named on the watch list for the Naismith POY for Boy's HS basketball. No surprise. -
OG Anunoby - New York Knicks

OG finished with 16 points and a team best +22 in the win over Eric Gordon and the Rockets. -
Yeah kinda glad we missed on him. Sounds like he has had some issues with curfew and making it to class too. Now this whole car investigation. Whew. Don't think he would have stayed on when Archie came anyways. Another reason I only expect us in with a select few 5 stars each year. I don't see Archie dealing with the prima donnas very well.

Just my opinion, but those worried about scholly's and Romeo shouldn't. Any school he chooses will make room for him as they should. Gonna be a battle to the end. Romeo is fully aware of what kind of legacy he could build in state believe me. I think his whole family does, but KU is always gonna have a talented roster and Vandy is gonna be appealing with DG. Has anyone heard info about Shittu? Haven't heard a peep on twitter or anywhere. If he waits it out, Vandy has to be worried. -
I get what you're saying. Davis staying out of foul trouble will be HUGE!!
-
He is the whole alphabet factor tonight lol. Played hurt a lot of last year. Looks like he has his step back. Duke is gonna be pretty damn good but I think with the 1 by their name everyone knows that. I still look forward to playing them to see where our team is against the elite teams. Seton Hall will be a test against a tough team, which we could be exposed badly but talent doesn't worry me as much as everyone else.

More concerned about Duval getting anywhere on the court he wants against us. Could really open the game up on us if we don't find guys in transition.
-
Duval has a shot to be a pretty good pro. He reminds me of a lot of different pgs. His first 2 games were crazy, but with the competition difference tonight I have been impressed.
-
Really like Wendell Carter. Jaren Jackson is very talented. He has been on most mocks for awhile though. Don't think many expected him to be here longer than a year. This is awesome ball though. Really enjoy watching these 2 teams.

(2018) S Jordan Jusevitch to IU
Yogi's Picnic Basket replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Jordan tells me he will sign early, but will not enroll until after his Senior year(not graduating in December like some do). -
The matchups tonight(individual) is what I'm excited about. Bagley vs Bridges or Jackson, Graham vs Diallo or Green. I don't wanna watch Purdue they actually look good so far so no joy in that lol. Marquette could be a sleeper in the Big East though.

Ronnie Walker (RB) 2018 TO INDIANA!!!
Yogi's Picnic Basket replied to lucel15's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Certainly won't. Our backfield is set. I do expect Devonte Williams to move to WR next year, but things could change. News came out that Simmie is gonna go through all the senior stuff so he may leave but with Westbrook and Hale returning as well as Philyor and Mack give us plenty of weapons. Fant did the same thing Cobbs is doing this year though so don't close the door yet. Lots of PT will be available on D which is where most of the early enrollees will come from as Lucel said.
