I know Glass makes the decision on whether or not to participate in uni changes with Adidas. But honestly I think players should have the say. If Adidas has an idea then Glass should ask them about the uni's. Want names on the back? Ask the players if they do. They are the ones wearing them. They're the ones playing. We as fans are going to watch either way. None of you would stop watching if we permanently put stripes into the uni design. With some black outlining everything. Put some names on the back. And put the word "Hoosiers" on our home uni's. And "Indiana" and "Hoosiers" were in fancy script wiring.... you'd all still watch... so the players should choose. They'll have a better sense of fashion than Glass... and probably Adidas(which wouldn't be hard).
There are no excuses to cover for Coach Crean when talking about the 13-14 team. That was a tourney team. That wasn't by any chance a 17-15 team. But Crean couldn't adjust to what we had. You don't need a ton of shooters to win games. For whatever dumb reason Crean still tried his offense of mystery and not pushing game pace off defense. Look at Louisville. Pretty much every year they can't hit the broad side of a barn from 3... no complaints coming from there because they play defense. And not just a sit back and hold them defense like Virginia. They play a defense to force the pace. That's what that team should have done. Instead Crean wanted them to be like the year before when they just weren't built for that.
10 losses is ok. Depending on who it is against. Can't be Penn St, Rutgers, Nebraska, School of Chairs and whoever else. It has to be against the tops of the top. Need to start scheduling like we used to.
And again... if we end up winning the B1G outright.. and again.. next year is like 13-14... he needs fired. We can't keep playing the up and down game. It has to be up at all times. The only way we should ever have 10 losses is because we have a schedule like Kansas did last year. A 4 seed should be a down year. Next year we have the talent to finish Top 3 in the B1G. Is that good enough? No. But as long as it isn't another 13-14 he'll stay. But he's got to be in contention till the very last game. And we can't have the dip we had this year... that isn't acceptable no matter what.
You can call me what you want. Fact is we all want consistency. He shouldn't get a pass just because Yogi leaves. Maybe he should have went and got a PG instead of Gelon.
