That's just the tourney. Just gotta watch the games and you'll know how great that league is. The Big 10 has a couple good teams. Mainly a mediocre league or worse outside MSU, Indiana, Maryland and Iowa.
Idk about Louisville. Their team is Lee and Lewis this year. But they're a Pitino coached team. They'll bring it. Good PG as well. I don't know how good they'll be. They'll probably be where we are at.
I just really hope SFA, Arky-LR, Monmouth and UAB get in... those are 4 teams that can busy brackets. I'd rather see them get in over a Michigan, Pitt, Florida or something.
So a team can go 0-18 in conference.. win their conference tourney and goes to the tourney.. while another team in the conference goes 18-0... loses in the conference tourney... and is off to the NIT.. that possibility madness the regular season meaningless in 1 bid conferences. It always will.
not with all the one bid leagues. We know Monmouth, Arkansas Little Rock, Stephen F Austin and UAB are good teams. Yet could lose in their conference title games by a 90 footer at the end and go straight to the NIT. That makes the regular season meaningless. Those 4 should make the tourney either way. They're better than the bottom teams that are getting in for power conferences. But instead their season is just 3-4 games long. The rest of the season is just fluff.
yea.. I think they could be moved. Like right before conference play starts. Before the New Year. Then the auto bid for conference goes to the team that put in the work over 18 games and not 3. Like the Ivy League.
ok cool. Vic's improvement was half a season while Cody was great all season. Cody was with ease the best player on the team arguably a Top 15 player of all time in IU history. Cody had a bigger impact on the team. Not by a ton but enough. But because of Vic's improvement the media catered more to him. The media put down Cody any chance they could.
We saw what we were without really good Victor the year before. Still a good team. Without Cody... Indiana wouldn't have made the tourney Vic's Sophomore year.
