Yeah, unfortunately I don't think one game is reflective of Brohm. I do delight in the loss especially due to the chant. "Bouncing back" against Mizzou looks to be a tough task. Hopefully the defensive miscues continue.

Even an old dude like me likes to see the jersey changes. It really doesn't cost us anything and if the players like it, Great! Some whiners would complain about not changing the uni's because its the same ole same ole.... Yeah, I'm good with it.

I guess from Dawkins standpoint he lost out as starter due to an injury back at AZ and thought he would become the starter here. Now to be named 2nd or 3rd is a bad situation. As long as we can stay healthy I think this is good for IU. He was only here for a year as an experienced hand. It's too bad he wasted his time with us and likewise we wasted our time with him. It would have been nice to give Penix and Taylor more time to practice (knowing Ramsey wouldn't have lost time with or without Dawkins.) I just hope we don't have injuries and are saying "if only" later this year.

I think that this is where the new red shirt rule will be helpful. They can allow Penix to play sparingly and gain some game time experience without taking away his red shirt eligibility. At this time of year its all wishful thinking, but I am excited to see how this year unfolds. (Realistic but hopeful) Like someone else posted... ready to get my heart stomped on again, lol. GO HOOSIERS!

Question marks on both side of the ball, with our schedule I would guess 6 - 6 knowing 5 -7 is just as likely or 7-5 (with some luck and we are DUE for that luck!)
