I'm not a Gerry fan either. I also took his comments as negative but being the politician he is, he slid in an almost under the breath remark that IU does have more talent this year. Same ole, same ole but they do have more talent.... what a snake. (or snake oil salesman). This is a tough season and we will need to surprise a team or two to make a bowl. Both lines and the QB play will make the difference. Yes, I'm excited for the year, GO HOOSIERS!

I hope you're right Lucel, in terms of this class. I am pleased with the last two classes but this would be the year to add depth to the last two classes with another strong group of commitments. I hope we land some more high level players. Yeah, rankings only mean so much... but on average they play out accordingly on this level. And yes, I am a CTA fan.

About time the NCAA acted.... OSU got their decision fairly quickly compared to IU. Glad it's done and we can move on with getting ready for the season without that question. Some good choices in that room.

Zach's article in the Indy Star really demonstrates how ridiculous the larger programs get preference. OSU already has Fields transfer approved even though their request came in much later than IU & Tuttle. That to me is sickening.

Lucel, If we get Cole and 2 more interior D-Line I would be quite pleased. I don't disagree we have talent on the D-Line but my impression is more of them are DE's rather than DT types. I would like us to have 2 -3 deep at the interior spots also. I had high hopes for Minor but also tend to discount him as there appears to be an issue there (not my business and I hope the young man well, but not playing for some reason.) So again, yes with the BIG season I want more DT's. Its know cliche but it does start up front on both sides of the ball so having depth on both lines is important.

A very nice start to this recruiting class. Yes, if he can influence his teammate Cole to come along that would be awesome. We really need to land more DT's in this class. Yep, this is very good news!
