Any chance an extension gets announced this week with Indiana on a bye and more time to get the deal finalized?
-
Indiana needs to win out and get to the BIG Ten championship game. We can’t let someone else decide our fate, because they will not do us any favors. Just look how the 2020 season panned out.
-
For letting Tom Allen sign Carey to a 2 year deal and making it even harder to fire Allen at the end of the year.
-
Dolson is the CEO of the athletic department and his 2 biggest revenue generators are/were a dumpster fire and he was responsible for the decisions that led up to the problems. His seat should be just as hot as Woodys.

Tamar Bates’s field goal percentage has went from 39% to 56% and 3pt percentage from 37% to 48%. Missouri may be bad but you just can’t ignore the field goal percentage improvement.
-
Hopefully this means Cig has a few DB’s lined up to commit
-
Not coming back, a good lesson that by putting your name in the portal you are giving up your spot on the roster

Dunnam deleted the post…strange…does the IU coaching staff want him back?
-
Looks like Buddha Williams is being added to the staff, previously with Colorado State
-
Based on the below tweet, the new staff is probably not re-offering everybody.
-
James Madison’s Offensive Line coach will be coaching them in their bowl game.
-
Is he fired yet?
-
Jonathan Smith of Oregon State is rumored to be interested in Michigan State, Indiana needs to at least make the call.
-
Sign Jon Sumrall up, what kind of offense does Troy run?
-
Jimbo Fisher would be an interesting hire and he’s available after the $75 M buyout, IU could afford him

No way he deserves an apology, he is now 3-21 in his last 24 BIG Ten games? We beat a Wisconsin team with a back up QB and third string RB. -

How did Walt Bell and Tom Allen not clearly see Sorsby as QB1 entering the year? Decisions like this make me question Tom Allen’s judgement more and more. -
Tom Allen 2-21 in his last 23 BIG Ten games. Moral victories are great with that kind of record. On a positive note the Hoosiers moved to 4-4 against the spread this year. Hoosiers are only 5.5 point underdogs vs Wisconsin, maybe Tom will play for the tie again and cover the spread.

I like Fitzgerald, but going 1-8 in the Big Ten West 3 of the last 4 years scares me. Did he lose his fire or what?
-
I wouldn’t mind seeing them hire Art Briles, people will say he has baggage and on the older side(it is working with Mack Brown and UNC). He had a legal victory last week clearing him of negligence. He would bring his son as the OC and he is a proven winner. Briles does not have many opportunities, so he wouldn’t break the bank. Just win baby.

At this point, not firing Tom Allen could cost the athletic program more than firing him. If we wait another year the program will be an even bigger rebuild and will be less attractive. Also, we need a national search which means no Carey promotion or Fuente promotion.

Per Zach Osterman, IUFB is hiring the former VA Tech head coach Justin Fuente for the analyst position that belonged to Carey. He had a good run at Memphis that landed him the VA Tech job, 2 good years at VATech then gradually regressed. Offensive minded coach. -
You know it’s not good when you have to point to women’s basketball. Football and men’s basketball make the money which are the top priorities, our football program is a disaster and we haven’t been to the sweet sixteen in mens basketball since 2016, but great job Dolson on women’s basketball.
