Have y'all considered the possibility that IU just isn't that intriguing to recruits because how much pressure we put on our incoming recruits? We always peg these guys as the "Next ... (Insert blank)" but in relality these guys are above average highschool basketball players. It isn't common to find a class like we did in 2013. We should have won it all. 5. I get that, it's similar to Marvin Bagley's dad and Nike. But, in Marvin's case, they were given way more than necessary to run a AAU team. With FBI probe on going, it's unwanted attention. Adidas could have done the same thing in this case. It seems very shady and if we expect changes coming to college basketball this would be something that could be addressed. Dirty Rick Pitino can't help but run to the media now that he got exposed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/before-romeo-langford-chose-indiana-adidas-made-sure-he-stayed-under-its-tent/2018/05/16/2c77d384-539e-11e8-a551-5b648abe29ef_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.cb291f884d84 Sent from my Pixel using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. He's using a scooter to move around, due to his injury, which requires him to kneel down a bit. That's probably why he looks shorter

    (2020) G Brayton Bailey (Damon's son)

I'm from the same town as the Bailey family and I've grown up/watched all their kids grow up. Brayton is only an eighth grader but people have pretty high expectations for him. This kid has a chance to be something special, but it's going to be hard to live up to the expectations his Dad left him. Best of luck to you Brayton!

IU's Most Important Player This Season

JBJ, I can't imagine if he got on the same level as Eric Gordon. Troy is great and brings an awesome tool set to the table, but our offense would flourish with JBJ playing like he did against SMU every single game.

IU's Most Important Player This Season

Thomas Bryant, most of the pieces are returning from last year so without him we can't expect much of difference from this past season. These high expectations we have this year is mostly based on the fact that we have a REAL BIG down low. Him just being on the roster took us from a decent to a good team. Not to say that Juwan, OG or Max don't bring anything to the table, but Thomas brings a whole new level of talent. Next is definitely Yogi, can't see us winning many games if his nasty three's are going in.

    Emmitt Holt dismissed from team

I'm a freshman at IU this year and I have an English class with one of Thomas Bryant's friends, and she told me he went out and partied just TWO DAYS after he got cited. I can't say whether he was actually drinking or not but it surprised me. Especially because I thought he would have better judgement than to put himself into an other risky situation so soon.
