"Rated" the number 1 local sports talk show in the country by who? And you are talking about # of listeners, then at best you could be talking about midday shows.....which isn't where the big audiences are, which are drive time shows. But if ratings = knowledge, then Skip Bayless is knowledgeable.
And if the measure of how well is by number of listeners....then he's behind anybody with a national show.
Now, what is my particular problem with him? Even when he's not on his show, he's 'on his show'. I'm fine not listening to his radio show, but he anytime I watch IU on ESPN, he isn't there to call the game. He comes in with an agenda. Tell me WHAT exactly he was doing today in the Kentucky/Tennessee game today when he spouts an opinion completely out of left field about Indiana. You could hear his co-host kind of taken aback. And the fact is the guy was a second rate coach who spent 11 years at Bowling Green, never made it to the dance nor won an NIT game. Yet he wants to constantly criticize coaches and tell everyone what 'he would have done'.
