Because I'm just that big of a geek, here are the stats for IU's two games against BC Mega. I'm not sure we won both games by double figures, do know we averaged 71.5 against them in two games. As a team, IU shot just over 40% and made just 13 out of 38 threes in the two games. The comment saying that Bailey doesn’t belong on a big ten floor is ludicrous. And note that he followed it up by saying that Sisley and Dorn should — an incoming freshman plus a guy who hasn’t even practiced yet for IU.

So Reed Bailey averaged 19 and was all conference in the A 10 but doesn’t belong in a big ten game?

So likely looking at a nine man rotation in Puerto Rico.

I don't disagree, but your statement was that Alexis was the fifth big in their championship run which was only true because of injury. Handlogten wouldn't have played last year except for injuries.

Alexis was hurt during the championship run. He only played one minute after February 11th due to injury.

I would say that seeing him in the McD's game last year and early on at U Conn, I think being the 29th player selected in the draft was a little underwhelming.

He actually put up 38 and 10 against Creighton. But he also put up a 0 point game against Dayon (0 of 9 from three) and the next time he played Creighton he was 6 of 20 with no threes. At the end of the day, he shot 38% from the field and 32% from three -- which holds a lot more weight than one game against Creighton.

I don't know how much 5 Alexis played at Florida -- simply don't know. Looking back at his previous season, UTC only played one P5 team (Louisville) and Alexis had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks in a win against them while playing the 5. But that was a pretty bad Louisville team.

FWIW, Acimovic did average 2.2 blocks/game in the U19 league which is encouraging. Put up 17.5/7.5 in the U19 ABA league which is the top slavik league for U19 and then put up 17.3/7.7 in the B level senior league, so his scoring and rebounding didn't drop against older players.

The 6'9" listing I saw for him was for the 23-24 season. Given that he would have been 17 at the time, would not be surprised if he had grown an inch or two.

For the Michigan game last year I paid more for parking in a grass lot ($280) than I did for the three tickets total. Think I got the parking tickets about three weeks before the game and a week later they were already up to $380....and it wasn't like it was a lot that was close.

IMO Tucker DeVries is a better college player than Javon Small. So when you say that IU is 'West Virginia without Javon Small', I don't get it. DeVries > Small Wilkerson > anybody you wish to list second at West Virginia last year.

I would assume if that Woody hadn't gotten fired, he would have lost Ya to Oregon as well. Sounds like he wants to be at his alma mater.
