  1. There isn't one lol haven't you picked up on the flow here?
  2. I have no sources suggesting that they specifically passed on Beard for background issues. That's speculation, easy speculation, regardless of how incorrect it might be
  3. If they get to McCollum they better have exhausted all other reasonable candidates and I mean ALL other reasonable candidates before they decide to roll that doobie and smoke it
  4. Perhaps, maybe not though. I'm in no position to know why Kentucky didn't hire him or rather why they chose to go with someone else
  5. Like what? Police reports beyond the obvious or rumor and speculation? I'm not going to go too deep in the weeds on the Beard stuff but I'm not going to act like I know something about what other universities did or didn't do and why they didn't hire a particular coach. There are enough on this message boards that feel comfortable doing that
  6. Good luck getting that answer, it's "I know someone who said this about him" and "I heard from such and such about this thing he did that one time back in this one place".
  7. That sounds like what the AD of the UAB basketball program says lol
  8. The May news can't possibly be a shocker to anyone. Michigan never would've heard the end of it had they not locked him up after the season they're having, especially knowing his IU ties and the undercurrent of chatter about him and the IU position. It was stated earlier that had May really wanted be at IU he could've easily just remained at FAU for another season and waited out the inevitable disaster that was this year at IU. I really doubt that Stevens is realistic at this point (hopefully I'm wrong). So we're down to Drew, Beard, and Cronin, followed by a handful of "hope it carries over" coaches.
  9. The transfer portal may have an effect on this hiring date.
  10. Nate Oats is really trying to remove himself from our list of desired candidates tonight isnt he
  11. How about Cronin with a beard?
  12. Judging by the jiggling of his watch I'd call him a sporadic shaker. If he were a painter he'd be Jackson Pollock
  13. No, but i have pissed next to Dolson before at the Barn a few years ago. Not only do they put their pants on just like we do but they also shake just like we do, incredible.
  14. And I can tell you that nobody up here in this frozen tundra gives a rat's @$$ lol it's hockey season
  15. I could be wrong but I could've sworn someone had mentioned putting the obvious off court things to rest and focus more on the coaching fit. Due to how often people, pardon the pun, were beating that dead horse
  16. I could be wrong but I could've sworn someone had mentioned putting the obvious off court things to rest and focus more on the coaching fit
  17. Well then stop rehashing **** that everyone on here is already aware of. I believe one of the mods has already made comments towards this very thing. We get it, you have daughters, and don't like Beard. I have daughters and I like Beard as a coach. Who cares? If you don't have something valid to add to his coaching prowess or how he'd be a good fit/bad fit, coaching wise, then I can only assume you're not done saying your peace and that we should create a separate thread for DV discussion so you can unload over there. Good day sir
  18. Multiple documented incidents?
  19. If you thought he was that good his name would've been on blast a long @$$ time ago. Seems that you found a cute little pearl that you're going to shove in everyone's face to convince them that he's the coach we should've been after the whole time. You do you big boy, I'm here for the entertainment factor on this one
  20. I'm just here to watch folks talk themselves into Mick Cronin
  21. Based on what they've both put out there for results, but sure, my opinion and all that
  22. That's where youre wrong. Hire Beard and you're head of the table almost immediately. Even May might get you there
