I would be more surprised than not if Davis didn't say a word to Kegler about coming to IU assuming that he does commit here.

His last name is Rambo, he has to be good. 

I feel good about getting Davis, Kegler on the other hand...

Brown/Newkirk Johnson/Cujo OG/Hartman Davis/Morgan Bryant/Morgan   That's a good team even if we miss out on Kegler. Brown/Davis are must gets though. 

I don't know if he'll put up big enough numbers o justify leaving early though.

That would be nice. I actually am high on Morgan, I think he'll turn into a good player in his time here. 

Do rankings matter to me? Yes, but I think they get overblown a lot. Obviously everyone wants the 5 stars/4 stars because those are the guys with the best chance to become a really good player. However, you see 3 stars become better players than some higher ranked guys all the time. I think the most important thing in recruiting is getting the guy who you think has the best chance to become a good player, regardless of where he's ranked.

Well Thomas Bryant is the obvious answer to me, IU lacked any legit big men last season and Bryant has a chance to give us a really good player at that spot.   However one guy I think is really important is Bielfeldt. Bryant is going to be good imo, but he's a freshmen so he may struggle with fouls and such throughout the season so we need the depth to be there for situations when Bryant may struggle. Bielfeldt is the guy we need to play well when that happens. Having 2 legit big men would give us a lot of options we didn't have last season. 

Davis would be a big get.... Hopefully would be shortly followed by Bruce Brown.

Is Covington still a QB? I thought he switched positions.    Also isn't Donovan Hale a QB?

I agree with Stuhoo that I think this kid just fits perfectly with guards that Crean wants. He's apparently a really good shooter and an explosive athlete. I'm optimistic about this kid but he has to get stronger, which is something that can easily be done. 

OG's long term potential is sky high. One thing Crean has done pretty well is develop his players and OG can be special if he is developed the right way. I feel like Juwan might be a little more polished and ready to contribute this season though. 

Looks like he's excited to be a Hoosier! Gotta love that.

He also said North Carolina was starting to look at him as well. No offer but the interest was there. 

I don't get why some people are comparing this to Gelon... Gelon was a relative unknown recruit who committed out of nowhere who most sites hadn't even rated yet, this kid is a top 100-150 player in his class depending on where you look and it seems like Crean thinks he can turn him into something. I have no issue with adding a kid like this. 

Sounds like he's an up and coming player. He may not be a top recruit but sounds promising. 

Sounds like he at least did decent, I saw another articles with reactions from the scrimmage and one of the reactions was Cujo/Bridges would have to handle a big load for Huntington Prep so he obviously did pretty well. 

I never bet against IU.   IU- 37 Sparty- 34
