My point was more that Crean seemed to have that particular "bend", but I never saw anyone posting or saying that he was "too religious" or that there was any proselytizing going on at Marquette (catholic university) or a secular liberal institution of higher learning (Indiana or Georgia)...

Wasn't there a pretty large element of that with Crean? I remember he was always posting scripture references and such on twitter early in his tenure... not a problem, per se, just a point of order.

You often read that [candidate] has withdrawn his name or [other guy] was hired for the job...
