  Have not seen/heard which knee. Everything I've read just says "knee injury".

  Just heard that JBJ hurt his knee in practice and will not play. His 15.8 ppg was just enough to cover the spread... wonder how this turns out?   Could this be "addition by subtraction" at least defensively?

  This right here.   My home office is full of IU stuff - autographed basketballs, autographed photos, framed prints, plaques, even replica banners.   Christmas gifts have always included at least one more item for the office decor.   But this year, we did not spend a dime on anything branded IU. For the same reasons as Feathery.   Fred Glass has the key to reopening my wallet in Indiana's direction.

  It's classic obfuscation. If you cannot create the genuine, then use smoke, mirrors and hype to try to imitate the genuine. That's one thing that Crean's pretty good at. *clap clap clap*

I just saw the H-T sports section front page on twitter... a couple of articles seemed to be critical of the team, the scheduling, etc, pretty much on par with the discussions here:    

  It does filter down, and yes, it may be toxic.   But one must remember, Crean is the guy who hired these guys to fill positions on HIS staff. That means that the halo effect is germane, and very much a part of this. If we don't like the way the HC is coaching or running the program, doesn't it follow that we won't be happy with the guys who take their marching orders from the same head coach?
