RMK was easily recognizable... and there were always jerks who annoyed him... but in general (see what I did there?) the fans were respectful and allowed him and his family to enjoy a reasonable amount of privacy... I don't expect Btown. to tread Stevens with any less respect.

Yes, it is still very early in the process. When the CTC > CAM change came, it took 11 days, and everybody was done with their seasons. In fact, CTC was not fired until the first day of the tournament. This year, we are almost a week behind that schedule - CAM was fired on Monday and the tournament doesn't start for real until today... This is no time to panic. Keep the faith and let the "do-ers" do their thing. Waiting is hard, but there's no value in filling that time with panic, fear or frustration.

Whatever gives him fodder for his mouth... remember, his kind make their money being contrarians and know-it-alls, and stirring the pot.

That's not Indiana's battle to fight. If he's free to coach college, that's the only thing that is germane to this discussion. If the Pacers or Heat or Lakers want him to coach in the NBA after he's done at Indiana, let them pony up and negotiate with Ainge or his successor. Why should Indiana or Dolson or any other person/entity that is NOT the NBA care about who owns his NBA coaching rights?

The CAM hire was 11 days after CTC was fired. Similar dynamic there - the Donnovan hype, several decent choices... could come that quickly here... sounds like (from his presser) that Dolson had already started the work, and now it's starting to look like a matter of tying up all the loose ends... as always, YMMV.
