  1. Suggs is just dominating with his shots. Kids hands are so hot I'm surprised the ball hasn't melted.
  2. Both.   Our defense isn't terrible, they're just hitting shots now. Our offense is horrible. Nothing is falling. It just took three shots to get 2
  3. This kid can't miss from the 3. He's like Z3.   From last year. Not this year.
  4. I also think we're hoisting up so many threes because we feel comfortable with the way the game is going. So, you take a few more contested threes to work on taking contested threes. If you miss them, you're still ahead by 18 and playing well enough defensively to have the opposing team on pace to 40 points.
  5. If I had a drinking game centered around that stupid "married to Joani" line I would be dead.
  6. I think it's only like 30 seconds, but I also have to fend off a toddler while I type.
  7. The way our shots aren't falling, this is a game we would be seriously struggling with last year. Our defense has us ahead by 22, not our offense.
  8. Troy Williams just slowed down the offense! TROY!
  9. Here's all you need to know about the D. Bellarmine just hit double digits over 16 minutes into the game.
  10. That girl was not having a good time.
  11. People complain about generic post game BS, but only in the sense that we would like more information. I think everyone agrees generic BS is better than honest negative opinions. That's why the BS exists.   Yogi saying "it's tough some games but you have to support your teammates" after a loss is way better than "We would have won if Crean stopped sweating long enough to coach" even if the latter may be more truthful.
  12. Don't tell anyone I told you this. But, many if not most "college towns" are nice in the same way Bloomington is nice. When students make up half the population of any small city, they'll inevitably influence the growth of restaurants or bars or cultural centers or whatever. Those things will be thought of as unique to this town because they aren't in non-college towns and most people don't live in other college towns to see how similar they are.   Um, I mean, Bloomington is the only place like itself in the US!
  13. Boo-urns to that.   Though, I probably will go through and cull it at least. I didn't realize we had this list at all. I'll see what I can do with it after I get home sometime. My biggest issue with adding any places, is I rely pretty heavily on sources that move a lot and I don't know where the streams will be until day-of so they can avoid take-down notices. But, better to save people from having to go to old links at least.
  14. That list is older and more outdated than most of the posters here. I think I only saw like 4 sites I know don't lead to "The FBI has seized this domain".   But, I mean, I'm not going to fix it or anything. So, checking out the list is still good advice.
  15. Doubtful. I'll search again for you folks and see if I get anything, but there weren't last game and I can't see why this one would be different.   Tunein to listen to it is probably your best bet if you aren't in radio zone.
  16. I forgot today was an early day and had to entirely get ready in under 10 minutes to make it to work early to leave on time to catch the game. So, not the best start.
  17. Regular crappy extension of the NYC metro area. It's tough to compare any of the NY suburbs to the national average. Cram enough people together and you end up with higher crime every time.    Did you know it's the third largest insurance center in the US?
  18. You know what's really not Disney World?   Disneyland.   Thanks for nothing West Coast.
  19. I thought Bill Paxton was actually going to be enough. Before I got on the industry kick, that's all I would have used this week anyway.   Bill Paxton = Harbaugh = Michigan = Winners.   I mean, not that it matters. I think I could get a perfect score for the rest of the season and still only get to like 10th.   Would you like to know more about the sugar beet? It's a pretty fascinating item. Monsanto's GMO sugar beets dominate the industry because of how damaging weeds are. Sugar beets, like other "sugars" have to have just the right mix of sunlight and nutrients in order to have the correct sweet flavor. Weeds therefore affect them more, and since they're a low-profile plant, they're very difficult to mechanically weed.
  20. Newark, New Jersey is the definition of  "Much better than I thought" these days. They went hardcore on the crime cleanup in the early 00s and it's just a regular city now.
  21. Sugar beet capital of the United States coached by Bill Paxton - 38 State with the manufacturing base least affected by the crash of 2008 because of how specialized their training is - 13
