Lot of Ron Patterson talk on the Syracuse boards. They think he's going to Boeheimed (yeah they call it that) to open up another scholarship spot in case they lose some post-NCAA decision. 

  It's OK. It's still pretty on topic. This is one of the biggest issues facing TB in his decision. His top two choices have a lot of uncertainty. I'm not surprised that he is waiting until the spring given that, by spring signing period he should know who he is (or isn't) playing for and/or the extent of Syracuse's issues. I don't know how he could make a decision before knowing these things, which means it's going to be a long long long winter until we find out. Syracuse's board is a mix on him right now. Some people super pessimistic that Kentucky offered, some people still sure that Syracuse has him. They totally discount Indiana because of his mom's comments.

I think Crean's lack of job security is a bigger hurdle for recruits than anything at Syracuse. You don't commit somewhere when you don't know who you'll be playing for. 

It's part of the same article already posted and discussed here. About how IU deceived them. With any luck, Syracuse will lose a couple of scholarships because of their malfeasance and it won't matter who was in the lead.

Gosh who cares? He intentionally was looking like a jerk, the band was still on the freakin' cigar! That's what people dig in college sports these days, a little bit of a bad boy image. If you don't get to celebrate after beating Purdue when do you get to?

Suck it! There are worse teams than us! 1-7 in Big Ten play, and that's the best one to get!

If we're honestly still one of his two final teams it's either:   1, Both programs are in trouble, and maybe we can be the best of the worst; 2. Mom doesn't actually care and she's just into the attention; OR 3. They know something the rest of us don't about the staff next year. I can't imagine another reason at this point.

If there is one thing this team is number 1 in the country at, it's making it so that it doesn't just rain, it pours. This kills us. Are we in the top running for any other four or five star bigs for next year? And if not, are we just looking at a repeat of this year? Unless one of our projects really comes along, I don't see what else could happen. As far as I'm concerned, not having a big in this class is a death sentence to the year and shows that the one thing we all backed Crean in (recruiting) is no longer even a skill. Unbelievable. The bright side? He isn't deciding until spring. If Glass isn't completely retarded, there is machinery working in the background to separate Crean from the school and it's plausible that whatever coach is coming in still has a shot to convince mom the program will be better. I mean. If the sunshine is pumping at maximum capacity.

Is it on BTN2Go so I can watch it? I didn't see it live and like watching them lose. No. Nor available anywhere else I can find. What a super bummer. 

That's what I liked about him too. He was a fighter and like Charlie Conway he'll make a better coach than a player.

They weren't going to crack the top 4 without one of those teams losing though anyway. The top teams are just too strong and too complete.
