  1. Wow, UM lighting it up and has taken the lead 44-39. Hoping they can pull it off today.
  2. Looks like definitely a good player. If he's a culture fit and interested, I would hope we take a look at him. Sucks he'd have to sit out next year though.
  3. This pretty much means that B1G teams will give us hell every night because they'll know we're their best chance at a marquee win that will boost their tournament hopes or seeding position. Huge target on our backs this year when conference play opens up.
  4. You're allowed one "wtf loss" per year in college basketball if you're trying to compete for a 1 seed. As long as we don't go dropping games at Rutgers or at home to Penn State, I can live with the IPFW loss. It's not going to hurt us that much.
  5. I know. Some players are so fluid in their movements it's truly a sight to see, but then there's guys like Bryant..
  6. I wonder whose streak was longer, probably Kansas or Duke right? We have to be top 5 in terms of consecutive home wins, I think we're at 23 straight now, and none since the 2014-2015 season.
  7. Yeah the Butler game worries me. It would make sense that we beat Kansas and North Carolina, yet lose to two in-state teams we're clearly more talented than. Holtmann is a good coach. I think they were picked to finish towards the bottom of the Big East, but they're ranked and undefeated so far. I really hope we have O.G. for this game.
  8. Damn, this guy is really stuffing the stat sheet. Future is bright!
  9. Might as well go ahead and fire this baby up: https://kentucky.forums.rivals.com/forums/rupp-rafters-basketball-forum.26/
  10. UK is such a weak #1 team.
  11. Is Purdue after him as much as we are? I'm not sure if he's a lean there or not, but I'd imagine with Edwards there and Eastern next year, maybe he's not as much of a priority as he would have been. What pap said makes the most sense; put equal time into both and hope one of them says yes.
  12. Too bad there won't be any NBA scouts at this game since it's not being played in L.A.
  13. Daaaaang and I forgot RJ had surgery after the season too on that ankle. Pretty much held him out for the majority of the offseason. Cuss words. Let's hope it's not as serious.
  14. Robert Johnson had the same injury suffered against Purdue on February 20, and he returned March 17 against Chattanooga playing 24 minutes. That's almost a whole month. He eventually re-injured that ankle if I'm remembering correctly, so he may have been brought back too soon. I know all injuries are not the same, but I'd feel better about him not re-injuring that ankle if he's held out until maybe the Louisville game.
  15. Crean said on the post-game show that we won't know tonight. They'll evaluate tomorrow. Here's hoping for a timetable of "day-to-day".
  16. This game, along with Kansas, is going to pay major dividends for our RPI this year.
  17. We'd probably be #1 next week if we beat Ft. Wayne.
  18. The good news is that OG can legitimately rest until December 17th (Butler) if it's more than just a stinger and less than a high-ankle sprain.
  19. Damn we're letting them back in this, I feel like we're just waiting for this game to end.
  20. Awful turnover there. That hasn't happened in at least 4 years.
  21. These refs must be wanting to keep the game close or something. They are destroying any flow this game has.
  22. Yeah it's that more than anything. Both sides have been victim to it.
  23. These referees have made some interesting choices tonight.
  24. Still can't figure out why he doesn't have that many high-major offers. Academics maybe?
  25. Me too, but a win tonight could get me right back to where I was before. We NEED to beat UNC, Butler, and Louisville to make up for that loss. I may be getting greedy, but we gotta win this to be taken seriously again.
