I've thought all year long he's been playing with a hernia.Ive seen him grimace in pain several times this season.If that's the case I admire the kid even more. That being said Lander's commitment was a godsend because Al or Franklin for that matter running point is a nightmare when Rob isn't available. Al is a pretty good spot up shooter and is better suited at the two. Franklin just needs time.

I have to wonder if the wrist injury hasn't had something to do with the shooting. Personally,when I saw him early I thought he was fairly athletic but had a weird looking gate and shot but that was just my impression. He seemed to get to the rim fairly often and that's his go to now.Like Fleek said it remains to be seen if that translates at the next level. He looks to be a legitimate 6'5" and strong on top of it.I was impressed last night by his ability to handle the ball with a super quick ball hawking guard harassing him for much of the game.

I agree completely.After watching this game and a few others I see a player who won't back down, has better than average athleticism along with good handles and court vision. I think he'll help us and could end up a primary ball handler.That shot though...

Race plays with heart.Wish it would rub off on a couple other members of this team. I also wish he was about 4 inches taller. Reminds me a bit of Darrel Thomas being undersized but great at positioning and instinct. Love the kid.
