(2021) - SF John Camden
GloryDays replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Probably green and lots of it. -
He has a real hang up on Al Durham. Al's gotten better every year and the stats show it.Must have ran over his dog or something.

(2021) PF Trey Kaufman to Purdue
GloryDays replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
I'm with you, that first lineup is a bit smallish. We will have Duncomb though.I would love to see us add another big to that class along with Kaufman. -

I wasn't saying that.I realize he's not going to come in and replace Smith. But with more minutes available and If the kid can shoot ,rebound some and occasionally take his man off the dribble he may carve out a role.I was being sarcastic to a point but there is some truth in saying Justin had terrible hands was a terrible passer and couldn't shoot a lick. -

If Geronimo can catch a pass, make a decent one, dribble some, shoot a little and finish at the rim he's already ahead of Smith.Other than a highlight dunk every now and then Justin gave nothing offensively and drove me crazy watching him. Defensively he was pretty damm good and we'll miss that. -
I will have to say what that graph really illustrates is just how hard it is to win the big one. Some awfully strong programs in that bunch. That said, Purdue still sucks!

What is the acronym MTE ?

Injury definitely changed Pat's game.He could jump out of the gym before the knee.
-
Congratulations. That'sone long baby girl.Is there height in the family?
-
Well as much as I hate Purdue I absolutely despise pUKe and everything they stand for so the answer is a resounding HELL YES!
-
Yes,early that year in a game at Carolina he benched Thomas in the second half for playing out of control and they beat us handily. To this day I think he sacrificed that win to teach Zeke a lesson. In the championship game we pretty much ran over the same Carolina team in the second half of the game.

No, you're wrong, Durham has definitely reached his. How do I know this you ask? I'm psychic like that. -

If anything this helps with Kaufman. Baumgart is dead up wrong on this. -
I remember after they cut away from our game, totally pissing me off one of the announcers a few minutes later saying IU is putting on an absolute clinic against Maryland.I agree, in my opinion at the end of the year that was as good an IU team I have ever seen.75 and 76 included.

Best thing Dad ever did was build that court.I lived on mine when I was a kid.

Bobby taking a shot at Dale Brown. He didn't like him much.

What was your first/earliest memory of...

That's mine also.I remember some real bad offensive foul calls on Downing fouling him out.I think TV Teddy watched and used that game as a model for calling the IU Duke final four game. -
(2021) C - Franck Kepnang

Pretty nice offer, the balls back in Under Armor U's court now. This could get real pricey. -
Yeah,I remember the preseason NIT game against Duke where he just went insane and was unstoppable.Player of the game and had me stoked for his future.Fools Gold as he never played like that again.
-
I'm with you on Remi. The kid was big , physical and played hard.
-
My response was to a statement in the absolute. He HAS reached his ceiling. That's an unknown and a silly thing to say.You guys obviously don't see value in him but have no way of knowing if he improves or not. I'll be surprised if he doesn't with the addition of Lander. Al needs to be off ball as he isn't a great ball handler and will benefit from not having the lead guard responsibility. He is currently the best shooter on the team.

He's improved each and every season but you're sure he's hit his ceiling. Well OK then. You missed your calling as a fortune teller.

2020-21 IUMBB Season Predictions and Discussion
GloryDays replied to IUc2016's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
At this point I wouldn't put Geronimo ahead of Galloway. Athletically maybe but basketball wise Trey is miles ahead. -
This sucks especially for the kids who play but mushrooms will be popping up and fish are biting now so outdoors I go.
