Got my Switch 2 pre-order today.   Cant wait until June 5th.   Mario Kart World will be taking up a lot of my free time.  Going to be some battles between my son and I. 

Yeah he called Louisville area his second home because all his dads family is over there.   Kelsey also reached out to him last year after he got the job but the timing didn’t work out.   Louisville is close enough to be considered a local team for him.

Followed his uncle who is the new head coach at Murray St.   was an assistant at Creighton 

IU has 2 players for next year and this is probably the most excited I’ve been about the future of the program in 6 years.  This program needed a full reset.  No holdover players and no holdovers coaches.    Let’s go.   
 
Sisley is an Indiana recruit. He was committing to IU regardless of coach.  Program recruit.

I’m hearing Maryland is down to Turgeon or Brownwell for their vacant coaching position.   I know in these type of searches many think they can pull a big name but these are the most realistic options for Maryland I’m hearing.  Just got to give them shot

this is a quick read folks, but this kid is saying all the right things! This really stood out to me:
 
On the roster IU is assembling for next season:
“The coaching staff is getting the pieces. They’re not getting all of the high level guys, they’re getting the guys that are trying to win and are about the right thing and everybody is pretty selfless. I feel like that’s the way you build a winning team and a winning culture. I feel like that’s what coach is trying to get with his first team at Indiana.”

I like this one. Watching more than my fair share of low majors (thanks fanduel), I remember Drake. Kid just had that “it” quality that made you notice him.

The uptick in paychecks this year is crazy. We are probably not far from top 10 quality teams needing $10,000,000 just for the starting lineup.

that is wild. The fact that USC has 3 mil for a basketball player is nuts to me.

Yeah.  Rodney Terry just got fired after 3 years with an Elite 8 appearance and making the the tourney every year.  Not saying it’s wrong or right to fire someone for those results but coaches have gotten fired even when they make the tourney every year 

For this fanbase?  At least an Elite 8.   Fans  haven’t seen one of them since 2002
