Agree Wisky is the team I would say has best chance. They might be going through a stretch right now but come tournament time I wouldn't want to play them. There is something to be said about tournament and final 4 experience which wisky has. If it's a close game give me Koenig taking the shot. He is a big shot maker. Yes they would have more losses then they do now but they are good enough this year that would compete for the conference title. This team is really good and if they played in a bigger conference they would be better prepared for a NCAA tournament run. They should of scheduled a non conference game with a top 25 rpi team in the middle of their conference season just to play a really good team. The last good team they played besides st marys(debatable if they are a good team) was dec 3 against Arizona without trier. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Devonte Green +10 in the first half, sat out 10:05 of the last 10:11 of the half. 15 - that's right, 15 - different lineups used for IU in the first half. The McLineup was +5 though.@andybottoms Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Indiana made six turnovers in a span of 4:50. Indiana with 8 turnovers in 21 possessions, a TO% of 38.1%. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Interesting that Crean mentions turnovers (and rightly so), then starts Green and Newkirk who have 2 of the 3 highest TO rates on the team.@andybottoms Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Iowa 2013 lost 6 of last 7 heading into the tournament Same year IU lost 9 of last 14 games heading into the tournament. Look I'm not saying they will turn it around but I have seen teams struggle and for whatever reason make a little run. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Syracuse last year started ACC 0-4 and then lost 5 of 6 heading into NCAA including first round of ACC tournament. 19-13 heading into tournament. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Maybe be I have seen teams worst then this team get hot at the right time and string together a little streak. Until they can't win 4 more in conference there is a chance to play better basketball and make a run. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Has nothing to do with optimism. I've seen worst teams then this get hot and put together a little mini streak

Or a resume booster for a struggling IU team. Winning @ Minny(26 rpi) would put a wrench in the tankers plan. It would give IU life. If iu wins this game watch how much their rpi will jump( big if). The bubble is historically terrible this year. Just look at the teams projected in last 4 in as of today. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

All games count. While iu was were home after losing in their conference tournament Louisville and Kansas racked up 2 more quality wins then iu could. Don't lay an egg in the conference tournament and iu gets the 1 overall seed. After looking at my projections for that year in my bracket I had them as the 2nd overall seed behind Louisville but ahead of Kansas. Still the point is people acting like iu was the clear cut favorite that year and no team was close to them is alternative facts. Louisville was just as deserving to be called the favorites

Random IUBB Recruiting

Well you could see the potential in him but very hard to gauge because Mooresville was terrible. He was the tallest kid on the court. You can tell he is a sophomore. Definitely needs to put some muscle on. He probably missed 4 layups. I will definitely be going to more games next year to see how much he will progress. Can't believe Purdue offered this early for now IU should take the wait and see approach on this one until at least his junior year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
