Northwestern has 4 20 win seasons in its basketball history (he was 2 of them). With regard to his teams not making a tournament, he took over a program that has never made it to the tournament. They would of won a few more games but they are pretty young and bad right now. I've watched a few of there games this year. I'm convinced that he saw how bad this team was going to be and that made his decision easier to go the prep route. Even with him they would of had no shot to get to state. It took a prayer to win their 4th game of the year the other night. Terre haute south gifted them a win. South was up 4 and southport hit a corner prayer 3 with .7 sec left. After a timeout South proceeds to throw ball out of bounds where no one touches the ball. Southport hits another prayer 3 to win it by 2 at the buzzer.
