Probably the fact that iu has 2 wins against projected 1 seeds and they just beat another bubble team. I know I sound like a broken record but they base it on total body of work. A win in november is just as important as win in march. While reviewing my team sheets it's clear this bubble is terrible. Vandy is 17-14 and they are right on the bubble. If IU would beat wisky they would have 2 top 4 wins to go along with 2 other top 50 wins and 6 other top 100 wins (2 on the road and another neutral). Every bracketologist I have talked to in the last couple weeks had sparty in comfortably before this win( myself included). Bracket matrix which takes the average of all bracketology had them at a 9.9 average before this game. Sparty was just playing to keep their seed where it's at.
