Wednesday has a big time game. Ohio St at Iowa. Big game for both teams.

Wisky up 13 at the under 4. Would be a metrics win for Wisky. Iowa is net 25 so it might improve their net of 34 some. If it’s more than 4 spots then IU will have another Q1 win. Iowa might be looking good now but they better win some games down the road.

Iowa by 1 at half. The amount of calls they get on the road you think they were a top 5 team in the country instead of a projected 9 seed

Yeah and Kansas St being in the top 75 which should of made that one a Q2 as well

Stirtz Hawkeyes have a big road game at Wisky starting right now.

To add to this keep an eye on Marquette. The are at 108 in the NET and if they go on a little run and get to 100 then that neutral court win becomes a Q2 win as well.

UCLA lost by 30 and 23 in the 2 games before they won last night. They might of leapfrogged IU however I don’t they did just yet. Their 2 best wins are at home over Purdue and Illinois. Massive 2 wins however IU has wins over Purdue as well and Wisky home to go along with a road win at UCLA. IU has 3 wins against the projected field while ucla only has 2 wins both at home against the projected field. Ius Sos is better as well. It’s close but in my opinion I have IU ahead of UCLA. I got both well ahead of OSU

Another thing to keep an eye on is Northwestern is at 78 in the NET. If they get to 75 then that game becomes a Q2 game. Not that big of deal but would put another Q2 win if they were happen to win that game and they finish the season at 75 or better

I got them out as of today. First 4 out. Some have them Last 4 in. They are squarely on the bubble unless you are the cbs bracketologist who had them in the tourney as an 11 seed safely out of Dayton with a 0-8 record against Q1 now it’s 0-9.

Sparty wins it. OSU still searching for that Q1 win. Unbalanced schedules even helped them out. Of the top 5 B1G teams they only had to play 2 of them on the road

They had Palm (Purdue grad) for the longest time and he definitely was the worse one out of the major outlets. Cant believe they kept him as long as they did

Both cases are getting IU in the tourney. Having the extra road win would give them them the better seed. Minny is currently 73rd and if they won a road game at IU then their NET is going to go up. Minny loss would be a Q2 home loss. Although if you lose to Minny you get swept by a non tourney team so they could hold that against you.

Louisville is 14th in the NET and Kentucky is 29th. They might not be as good as they should be numbers wise those were high level non con games

OSU has 0 Q1 wins. 0-8. IU has 2. That would be really something ifOSU was put into that bracketologist projections over IU.

Interesting. Others have it different. It sure who is going CBSs this year but Palm who has done it in the past had been one of the worst to ever do it

Net non con sos has been around the 200s for a while. It hasn’t been close to the 300s. 25th overall

That will boost their NET Goalie saved them in the 3rd period

The flip side of that is 8 (4 on the road to top 12 teams )of the 10 losses are to top 30 NET. For a bottom of the bracket seeded team that’s tough. Wouldn’t have that many losses otherwise if they were able to play some of the teams Acc and big east teams get to play in their conference. Not many get right right games. IU is 10-10 in meaningful games. Q1-Q3. IU was never going to be a top of the bracket seeded team in my opinion this year and only a top seeded team would have more wins against that top 25 schedule. Is what it is. They are a flawed bottom of the bracket seeded team that has results that back that up.

Committee doesn’t put any emphasis on how teams finish. They got rid of that a very long time ago.
