If Texas gets in they will have a record of 12-15 against the top 3 Quads. No team has gotten an at-large with a losing record against the top 3 Quads. I think they might sneak it though

Worth keeping in mind Lunardi works for espn which has tv rights to Acc and sec. I’m not shocked he moved both Texas and UNC in the field after yesterday. Other bracketologist that have a better track record still have IU ahead of them. Going to be close

Because he would actually do the rest of the job that a college basketball coach is suppose to do when he is the face of a program and because I want someone the actually loves being a college basketball coach instead of a coach that clearly doesn’t love college basketball. Again only my opinion but give me Brownwell over Woody 809 times out of 809. Not close

I would take Brownell all day everyday over Woody and it’s not particularly close so I’m fine with however this turns out

Just watched and gave a coach with 0 college basketball coaching experience as the head of the program for 4 years a chance I will take my chances on whichever college basketball coach the AD chooses and give him a shot

Maybe some would however others like myself can just sit back and watch it unfold without yearning for anyone because IU will be hiring an actual college basketball coach this cycle

He would have to be convinced that IU gives him the better chance to break through to get to a final 4 then he does currently at Creighton. History tells you he isn’t moving because his name gets brought up every cycle to move on and every year he stays. Only advantage IU would have this time is IU plays in one of the top 2 money conferences and maybe a coach outside the sec or big would make the move. If IU were able to land him it would be a massive win and looked at like a big deal in the college basketball world. He has been high on my list for some time now but I also understand it would be tough to land him. Watched an interview with him the other day and they named a facility after him

You want VCU and Memphis to keep winning (I think IU would be ahead of VCU anyway but wouldn’t hurt for them to keep winning) those would be the main ones. I still think outside chance Big West could get 2 bids UC San Diego and UC Irvine will get consideration if they fall into the at-large pool

Not a bad thing depending on what kind of results he produced while in his 5-6 years. If he comes in and fails then time for IUBB to take a look in a mirror if a successful sitting power 5 coach comes in and gets the same mediocre results then I agree it’s a bad fit for both however if in those 5-6 years he came in and produced results similar to what he is doing now or produced better results then then if he decided to retire after those 5-6 years and left the place better then where it is at then I would be fine with him leaving. IU is in no position to turn their nose up to a coach like him like some posters on here do
