I’m not sold on anyone. No one is a guarantee. All I know is IU is going to hire an actual college basketball coach this cycle so I will give whoever it is a chance. Anything will be 200 times better then hiring a coach that had 0 college basketball coaching experience

Yeah 3 years a BYU in a mid major conference WCC only his last year at BYU when they moved to the Big 12 was a high major conference hence 1 year coaching in a high major conference before Kentucky hired him

Louisville hired a mid major coach last cycle that hasn’t won a tournament game as well IU has 1 winning conference record in the last 9 years but somehow people believe IU should be able to pull sitting power 5 coaches that have things rolling at their current school. Times have definitely changed

Q1A are viewed pretty heavily. It shows teams have the ability to beat high end teams. Q1a helps separate teams at the top of the seed list when deciding between 1 and 2 seeds and if a bubble team has those wins and others don’t then that will play a factor. I love UCSD but they are a typical mid major team that doesn’t get the opportunities like ISU was last year. My opinion they should be in even with a loss but history tells me they would be in trouble. Only thing that might be going for them is that 7 of the 12 committee members are from low or mid major schools

That non con is the one on the team sheets. Ken Pom non con is not on the team sheets IU is 159 today and Oklahoma is 161. Oklahoma overall sos is 15. i don’t worry about the why I just go by what’s on the team sheets. Now each individual committee can view kenpom sos and use it for their argument however Ken Pom sos isn’t on the team sheets

Even with a losing record Delaware might have been able to avoid Dayton because the CAA is a stronger conference then some of the lower major conferences. SWAC is always in Dayton. It would of been interesting to see what they would of done worn them
