  2. Hoosier women knocked off the female Spartans 76-58. Grace Berger had a career high 29 pts. on 9-17 FG and 11-11 FT. Mackenzie Holmes was in uniform but did not play.
  3. Final score 76-58 as the second half was all IU. Although Mackenzie was in uniform she did not play. Grace finished with 29 pts. on 9-17 FG and 11-11 FT. She also had 7r and 3a. Gulbe 13p 6r 1a Patberg 12p 6r 3a C-H 12p 4r 2a M-M 10p in 20 min. off the bench Browne fouled out after grabbing 6 reb but helped put Clouden in early foul trouble and limiting her to 10p 4r
  4. Berger now with 27 for the game a new career high. Hoosiers lead 71-45 with 6 min. left.
  5. Amazing Grace scores 17 in the 3rd Q and we lead after 3 quarters 62-41.
  6. Hoosiers really picking it up and the lead is 51-36 midway thru the 3rd Q. Browne now also with 3 fouls. MSU player now has 4 fouls.
  7. Gulbe picks up 3rd foul with 8:40 left in the 3rd.
  8. 32-27 Hoosier lead at the half but we're only shooting 33% FG and need to pick that up in the 2nd half. C-H 9p 2r Berger 8p 4r 2a Gulbe 7p 3r M-M 5p off the bench Peterson & Gulbe each 2 fouls. MSU has 2 with 3 fouls and another with 2 fouls.
  9. See there's this little white boxy thing in the upper righthand corner that says search and has that magnifying glass thingy! I'm just kidding both of you.
  10. Galloway gets the start in place of Stewart.
  11. In the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) Region 2AAA championship game Frederica was beaten by St. Andrews 47-44. The delayed stream of the game had several skips and simply stopped with 4:17 left in the 4th and St. Andrews leading 38-36 so the stats I have for Jobe are very much incomplete. 10p 11r 1a 1s I'm not familiar with GISA tournament structure but I presume this means Jobe's high school season has ended.
  12. Hate to break it to you guys, but I started a thread for this game on Thurs. IUBB @ Michigan State - 02/12/22 @ 3:30 on Fox-TV
  13. Peoria ND (20-6) with a 50-39 win over Danville (8-13). I had Koch with 21p 11r 1a 1s 1b 2t
  14. Bloom. North (14-3) with a 59-55 come-from-behind win over Terre Haute North. Roberts 19p 9r. He was 4-6 on 3s. Bloom. trailed by 10 with 6 min. left in the game and pulled it out.
  15. Last night John Marshall defeated Mankato West 54-41. Lilly 19p 10r 3a 2s 3b 0t
  16. Senior night for Centerville and they put an 83-59 beatdown on Wayne. Cupps was his team's leading scorer with 19 on 7-13 FG; 4-6 on 3s; 1-1 FT; 1 reb; 10 asst; 2 stl; 0 blk; 1 TO. Centerville loses 3 of its starting 5 to graduation including Rich Rolf (16.9 ppg), Tom House (15.3 ppg) and Quinn Hafner (7.5 ppg). I don't know what kind of talent it has on its JV team but Cupps will likely have to up his scoring average next season -- 14.6 ppg this year.
  17. Indoor home slate wrapped up yesterday. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2022/2/11/track-and-field-hoosiers-put-the-wraps-on-the-2021-22-indoor-home-slate.aspx?fbclid=IwAR0GTUwsAc8-JtBeUueuwZYJVXEet_oTAS_SahGQUlry79Zx-iqdFPuIskQ
  18. On Wednesday night, Richmond(20-1, 10-1 SAC) defeated Lee County (3-18, 0-11 SAC) 87-37. Running clock started with 3 min. left in the 3rd. McNeil finished with 24p scoring 20 of them in the first half and played minimal min. in the 2nd half. @$$'t. Coach Sean May of UNC watched. Tonight Richmond (20-1, 10-1) hosted Scotland (3-16, 2-9) in its regular-season finale and McNeil scored a career high 41 in an 84-60 win. He had 10 in the 1st; 11 in the 2nd; 12 in the 3rd and 8 in the 4th. His 41 included going 10-11 FT.
  19. Cora Bassett started off our game against Florida Atlantic with a leadoff solo HR. A hit batter with the bases loaded scored a second run and Hoosiers off to a quick 2-0 start. Macy Montgomery started on the mound against Florida Atlantic. Basset doubled in our 3rd run in the 2nd inning and she scored on a single by Grace Lorsung. Before the inning was over Brittany Ford crushed a grand slam to make it 8-0. Florida Atlantic got a run in the 4th but we tacked on 3 more in the 5th (Lorsung a 2-run HR) to make it 11-1 and that's how it ended. Montgomery pitched 4 innings giving up 1 run on 2 hits; she struck out 6. Heather Johnson pitched the 5th inning and shut FA down in order. On Saturday, we play Bethune Cookman at 2:00 and Northern Illinois at 4:30
  20. Georgetown Prep with a 63-62 win. Rooths 19p (7-12 FG, 1-3 3P, 4-4 FT), 7r, 5a, 5b, 3s.
