  1. I'm sure he has a lot of connections around the Knoxville area...so I would say yes?
  2. "Friend's Son's Buddy"...hmmm
  3. Come on Tom, free tanning!!
  4. "Okay..I'll just tell him it's not him, it's us IU fans...We deserve better. On second thought, it is all on him...he just can't coach. But if I say that, it will hurt his feelings...Oh gosh what do I do!?"
  5. Been mentioned by a few people...consensus is a NO
  6. He has been a coordinator for way longer than 2 total years...
  7. According to Matthew Weaver, IU has hired Mike Hart (out of Syracuse) as the new RB coach.
  8. For now at least. I think we will be moved this summer regardless. Which I think actually makes more sense; who knows, they may catch some heat and get to the Eastern Conference Finals!
  9. Alright Hanner....
  10. I never heard that rumor about Holt...care to elaborate? PM maybe? Thanks in advance.
  11. From an article I read regarding the recent departures of IU assistants: "After decades of futility, IU finally had pieces that the big boys wanted. That’s a good thing. In today’s era of college football, winning doesn’t produce staff stability. More times than not, it produces turnover. Now, the Hoosiers have to deal with that reality and survive it. That’s proof that IU is doing something right."
  12. @zach_barnett: Indiana RBs coach Deland McCullough will be the new RBs coach at USC, sources tell @FootballScoop http://footballscoop.com/the-scoop As CCGeneral suggested, this is pretty much a done deal.
  13. I think he may be the x-factor in the game today. Rooting for him to have a great game and make Hoosier nation proud!
  14. From his Houston Bio: • Darren Hiller joined the Houston Football program as its run game coordinator and offensive line coach on Jan. 6, 2017 following one season as co-offensive coordinator, run game coordinator and offensive line coach at USF. • With Hiller on staff, the 2016 USF offense ranked fourth nationally in scoring (43.8 points per game), fifth in rushing (285.31 yards per game) and 11th nationally in total offense (511.5 yards per game). • His 2016 offensive line led The American and ranked 14th nationally in allowing just 15 sacks in 13 games. • It also paved the way for Bulls’ QB Quinton Flowers to rush for over 100 yards in six games last season and RB Marlon Mack rush for over 100 yards in five games. • USF finished the year with new program records for points (569), touchdowns (77), total yards (6,650), rushing yards (3,714) and rushing touchdowns (47). • The Bulls scored at least 30 points in all 13 games. • Prior to USF, Hiller served as offensive line coach at Cincinnati for three seasons. • In his three seasons at Cincinnati, the Bearcats put together the three best offensive seasons in school history while appearing in three bowl games and winning the 2014 American Championship. • The Bearcats produced more than 5,900 yards of offense every season, passing for 3,900 yards or more and rushing for 2,000 yards or more every season. • In 2015, the Bearcats exploded for school records in total offense (6,690), passing yards (4,679) and first downs (370). Cincinnati ranked sixth nationally in total offense. • Cincinnati broke 18 school offensive records on the year while averaging 33.8 points per game. • Hiller’s 2014 offensive line ranked third in the NCAA, allowing just 3.4 tackles for loss per game. • Spent 2012 at Nevada as offensive line coach. Team ranked seventh nationally in rushing. • Hiller had a successful decade-long run at Arkansas State (2002-11) where the Red Wolves racked up a pair of conference championships, including a 10-2 record in 2011 and an appearance in the GoDaddy.com Bowl. He coached 16 All-Sun Belt Conference players, including an NFL Draft selection and five NFL free agents. • Prior to joining ASU, Hiller spent 2001 at Northwestern State University, coaching two All-Southland Conference players and helping the team reach the I-AA playoffs. • He spent two seasons at Arkansas-Monticello (1999-200) where he helped the team finish in the top five in Division II in total and scoring offense and break 30 offensive school records. Four players earned All-Gulf South Conference recognition. • A two-year starter at offensive guard and team captain at West Texas A&M (previously West Texas State), Hiller also began his coaching career there from 1994-98. He helped the program have a No. 1 ranked offense in the nation and guided nine All-Lone Star Conference players.
