I rather have John because he can recruit and his NBA connections are unreal.

So what’s the big deal with this Rice kid? He’s shooting 28% from 3, (okay that’s Mike Woodson style I’ll give you that), he averages 3 turnovers a game, but puts up 15PPG in the worst power conference. He’s listed at 6’3”, that’s ideal. Can he defend? I’m too lazy to pull up Synergy. Indiana needs bodies I guess.

This is college basketball. There is no salary cap. There are really no rules. Coaches are sliding into DM's daily, during the season and after the season. Whether the kid is in the portal, coaches are still reaching out. Does your program have good NIL support? You're in luck. Are you a mid-major head coach with a pretty good kid with pretty good numbers? Sorry, he's entering the portal. This is why head coaches are retiring. This is why the NCAA will be mid-majors only here in a few years. B1G and SEC will create the new league.

Mike Woodson is the man for the job. He has just as many contacts in the NBA than coach Cal. He's been to the tournament twice in three years at Indiana! He's in his prime! Kentucky, you need to reach out to Mike Woodson!

Kids committing before visiting are getting the full-court press from the coaching staff and perhaps a great NIL incentive. Woodson got serious for a minute landing Bryson Tucker, they paid the highest dollar amount and got rewarded. But the portal has been open for several weeks now and they still haven't landed anyone. It's concerning in my opinion.

I think Woodson should go to Kentucky! He has string NBA connections, he rather play the NIL game than recruit, and he’s made multiple NCAA tournaments. Would be a great hire for UK!
