I actually liked the Archie hiring, the Woodson hire was irresponsible. But perhaps the hiring of Woody does indeed indicate the status of Indiana Basketball and could be that it no longer has the “IT” factor despite what fans want to believe. We’ll find out when the news is released.

I liked what I saw today, way more enjoyable X’s and O’s wise compared to Woodson basketball. However, being bottom of D1 in 3 attempts concerns me greatly considering that has been the biggest emphasis on basketball in today’s modern day.

If that were the case, not firing Woodson last year and hiring May may have been in the final nail in the coffin for Indiana Men’s Basketball.

I don’t have access to D2 analytics, this style of play works for Drake in the conference. Do fans want to watch even slower basketball than what they did with Woodson?

There’s some concerns with me regarding Ben, that’s revolves around style of play. Consider these rankings in the B1G / P4 basketball. 337 in D1 in 3PT ATTEMPTS / GAME 363 in D1 IN FGA ATTEMPTS / GAME 364 in D1 in PACE OFFENSIVE RATING - 51 DEFENSIVE RATING - 31 That doesn’t get me excited. It doesn’t sound fun to watch although I watched the game today and it was pretty fundamental.

He was part of an FBI investigation. Yasir is an AC, not HC. There’s a difference.

I don’t see Dolson getting involved with a former FBI subject of interest.

To be fair, most writers are going to say the exact same names. Anyone with an Indiana connection will be listed, mid major coach or the year mention, whatever. This process has been extremely quiet, there was smoke for a while before people got told to quiet down. It’s also been the longest process due to the timing or Woodson being fired mid to late season. We’re almost to the finish line.

I’d like to see him do something at an ACC school before jumping to the big leagues.

Woodson is finally done in Assembly Hall. Our next head coach will be looking sharp on the sideline next year.

Goodbye Woody!

While I’m confident Dolson has his guy, I will never forget Indiana striking out incredibly bad when Woodson was hired. That told the fan base and general perception of Indiana Basketball IMO.
